Guys, if you want some more recommendations - I have Kala KA-15S ukulele and I am completely in love with it. It has great sound, wood and strings and I think that is not that expensive for a beginner so you can check that out :) and I love your videos Elise ♥

Funny that you recommend the kala dolphin ukulele because I will get the Kala Makala Shark Blue Concert-Ukulele from my sister and it's actually in my living room. It's just in the box and I will have to wait.
I would also recommend the kala mohagany 13 fret concert ukulele. Its the first one I ever bought andi love it so so much. It was 85$ which is kind of more expensive but its pretty cheap compared to most I've seen and it stays in tune for a really long time and it sounds really pretty :)

Awesome!! I'm so excited for you!! And yes, there are free ukulele tuning apps if you have a smart phone. However, the Snark tuner is super convenient because you can clip it to your uke and always have it there for when you are playing. I actually prefer to have both the physical tuner and the app. You could also tune your uke to the keys on a piano, if you have a piano:)
I love singing and song writing even tho I’m not a good singer and I think a ukulele will be good for that plus it will give me something fun to do and to learn

For Christmas my parents got me the Blue-ish, green- ish Makala soprano shark ukulele and a really cute black case with a cat key chain and I’m learning how to use it, your videos are so helpful with learning!!!!

Another thing I think is very important when getting a uke is a uke capo, while you can use guitar capos they can be a bit bulky and get in the way at times. The video was very good and informing I just felt this was a good thing to mention.
I found that one of the best buys on Amazon was the Aklot concert ukulele. It is a beautifully made instrument with a solid mahogany top. It came in a nice box with a gig bag and all the accessories you need to start playing right away. A real deal at $72. CDN!
I was struggling so hard to find proper and cheap-ish recommendations for a first uke. Moreover, I really wanted to buy one online because I'm insanely socially awkward and wouldn't know what to ask for at a store. I am getting a new uke for Christmas! I don't remember exactly what it's called and I can't find it online, but it's an Amahi in the Snail series. it's a tenor (I currently have a soprano), plus it's electric-acoustic and it's gorgeous! I'm not aloud to have it until Christmas, though, so I have to wait for my new baby. I don't know what to name it yet lol

I am getting a new uke for Christmas! I don't remember exactly what it's called and I can't find it online, but it's an Amahi in the Snail series. it's a tenor (I currently have a soprano), plus it's electric-acoustic and it's gorgeous! I'm not aloud to have it until Christmas, though, so I have to wait for my new baby. I don't know what to name it yet lol
I always wanted to play a ukulele ever since I was little and when I found your Chanel I finally asked and I might get one soon I will pay more attention to your tutorials to learn you inspire me so much!
