Please help. I understand Safari connections are secured. What happens though to data exchange that happens in the background, when I connect to the internet, like system data updates, uploads of data to icloud, app updates, all sorts of background activities. It works when I connect to my home Wi-Fi but when I connect to a different Wi-Fi I get a pop-up and it says private relay unavailable and soon as I disconnect from that Wi-Fi private relay comes back on I suppose it’s not supposed to work like that I am running iOS 15.2

Occasionally Private Relay slows down internet speeds on Safari but I guess that’s the case with VPNs and this being a beta.
