- This is it, guys. Fatalis is the ultimate challenge. I took a while to edit this one cause I didn't wan't to be repetitive with my jokes, but it's getting hard, starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel. Hope you like this one.

@@whale6289 in frontier, there are special attacks that result in an insta cart, like zenith khezu or berserk laviente eating you, or white Fatalis disintegrating you. And the Felynes get you out on a cart and dump you on the floor. Thank god for bless their furry souls.
A good friend of mine once told me the best strat to fight Fatalis.

sadly, doesnt mean jack shit in most circumstances. Back in Low/High rank a flash-pod pre-loaded while knocked meant you could save yourself.
Unless you got like, scatternut, crystalburst, bomb pod or thorn (sometimes on that last one), or get REAL lucky with a perfectly timed face-KO rock, it's not gonna do squat.
Thankfully for Fatalis they made it so every few dragon pod shots make him recoil like a cat sniffing something unpleasant though...

Hapened to me multiple times, after fighting him countless times i just instinctively know when he is gonna fly so i stay close to the fortress and not far away from but people like to play tough yet cry while they burn when i close the gates on them so i can ensure others who are paying attention do survive. Specially if you are a heavy weapon user if your weapon takes long sheathing then i would be extra careful for my position because if the wind pressure and long run doesn't ensure that you will cart then your slow sheath animation will.
What? Closing the gate on your local glaive user is hilarious when they try and vault the gate and get flung over by instant death

I actually fought and lost to Fatalis so many times solo (with cat), that I was able forge his whole armor set before slaying him.
When I finally got that killing blow I woke up the whole house...
Moral of the story, there is a super fine line between playing too safe, and too aggressive. Keep your balance and ride that line to victory!
Similar for me, though I had his gunlance too (lucky plunder blades through my runs) all I could do when he fell was laugh. I was out of breath and nearly missed my carves, but it was a damned good high.
took me like 50 hunts to get frome time out faint out to 18 min kills with no or 1 faint and head breaking on Ig. First 10 were Cb but im a ig through and threw it seems ( i cant chargeblade beat alat or fat yet).

I can finally add my tale ere', as someone who JUST today cleared Fatalis with the help of others it really is that constant dance between taking advantage of an opening and then getting the FUCK outta there before you are obliterated.
VERY fun fight, though man Fatalis is unforgiving.

Literally just played with randoms that spent 7 minutes trying to bait fatalis to the gate. They were standing at the top though so all they were doing was baiting out his ranged fireball and breath attacks. We lost because one random took 3 of the faints, but its pretty safe to say we woulda timed out otherwise.
Playing with randoms is so wild. Like most of the time its horrible but there's always that one team that comes in clutch with A+ team work with or without comms, party heals, emotes on kill, and not setting down traps for black dragons. Sadly though just when you realize you want to hunt with that team of randoms again, they're gone
@@infinitezion2029 sometimes I help random people like that, sometimes I ask for help and teams like that pops straight out nowhere.
And sometimes we share our accounts to keep in touch and hunt some beasts together again.
That’s one of the most beautiful things about this game.
@@DarkGuardianAngelXI Tbh I never thought randoms were too horrible until my ps4 died and I had to switch to pc before Frost Fang, most randoms on pc are absolutely dogshit. I've joined a bunch of random teams where somebody that was noticeably new to the game would be having trouble and instead of being helpful the other randoms would just abandon after 1 or 2 faints leaving me and the host to kill it ourselves. To me it feels like randoms on pc do 90% worse than randoms on ps4 because of this specifically. It was rare for ps4 randoms to actually abandon even if we had no carts left and ran outta healing while pc randoms will talk shit just to cart once and abandon.

Missing with a fully charged switch blade isn't fun either. So many times I've lined up a perfect shot just for the monster to move a couple of inches out of range. It's rage inducing.

Nah bruh...... White fatalis literally cuases lighting storms and can actually kill you lolol. You will fail the quest even if you have extra carts, He straight up erases you from existence. He's on a whole other level.

@@knightsteyri9110 Godly yes, i watched some videos about it, after you got carted your character really get literally "Obligerated" in the whole game. And speaking of reality threat, he can wipeout species, humans and dragons in less than 1 week if provoked.

I dont think it's possible for palicos to slay monsters. In palico solo videos I see, the hunter has to be the one to deal the final hit or the monster won't die

I go affinity anyways because it is sooo easy to slot in. I also only have like 3 level one attack jewels and a bunch of other ones with random skills i dont typically use.
what is affinity? just started playing for 2 days and I saw that in some weapons I have it changes from +15% to -20% what does it affect?

Ive become a big fan of the mushroomancer skill. 10 instaeat max pots, infinite duration demon and armordrug and extra sprintjuice are very nice
Dood just bring things to craft max potions. You can technically have 8 if you count ancient potion without the use of a skill. Also sushifish scales+ are godly. Well not as good as max or ancient but it's instant and heals for more then a mega pot.

A solo run is a solo run, he’s obviously easy enough for him to do it regardless of how many faints he’s got so long as he didn’t Cart enough and fail it. Most people still can’t even do with a squad and 5 faints plus safe guard and insurance.

Not everything easy needs to be a perfect clean run.

but have really amazing smelling and hearing ability that's why fatalis arrived so quickly when our character just arrive

Couldn't find a comment on this, but at 3:40 when your cat, Ted, put him to sleep and you blew up the barrels, you could have gotten a free wallbang instead of wounding the head. (Though the video cuts after you wound, so you might have gotten a wallbang anyways). And doesn't matter if its fatalis or any other monster (for those reading this and who don't know), if they get put to sleep while enraged, you still get a free wallbang when they wake up but you gotta be quick. (You can sometimes get a wake up hit and a wallbang, depends on the monster). Hope this helps anyone out there. Great video, so accurate to fighting fatalis lol

Started watching your videos when I still didn't have enough courage to face rajang solo. Came back with the redemption arc of having also solo'd every monster including this prick.
Trust me, putting him to sleep in front of the dragonator does SO much damage that way.
Did you know some of the sounds he makes before he uses his fire attacks?
One with normal and super fire breath attack
The other is explosion after a mili second
The last one is the explosive sliva he leaves on the ground

When he spams that 360 in last phase my ass clenches in a group 😂 hugging the chest is so helpful as well as clawing onto him as well when he does it.
True, sticking to his stomach on the opposite side of the attack gives you an opening for some damage too, but when you're not close, get ready to dive.

The Stomach Hug on Fat-Talis is good. He's too fat to hit you with most attacks so he legit has to be standing up to nuke you, or he has to step back swiftly to attack you.
