Is a VW Transporter Campervan the perfect fit for a Family of 4 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 ?

Suitable for a family of 4?- VW Transporter Campervan
Is a VW Transporter Campervan big enough, comfortable, enough space etc for a family of four to have a holiday in, a weekend away and Staycation?
A VW Transporter is a popular vehicle, but is it suitable for a family of 4?
Lots of baggage, luggage, cases, rucksacks, possibly paddleboards, SUPS, surfboards and lots of beach gear could be needed. Will this vehicle be capable?
Where can you store items? Where are the cupboards etc.
This has an underslung gas tank, so doesn't have the space taken up by a gas cylinder internally
Are the beds comfortable? This has a RIB bed downstairs and a Froli bed system in the pop top.
How is the MPG on a trip with the fully loaded van?
I would add some external storage options and some mods internally, but what are my overall thoughts?

I bought a VW Transporter T6 Kombi Highline van 140bhp diesel SWB with tailgate.
I have lots more to do though, I have a new electrical system, using Victron components and a Lithium LIFEPO4 battery, so I obviously need to install some power devices. I have a new sound system, with Focal speakers and ibus 2.1 amp, Playstation PS4, which will be removable, TV's on headrests.
Lots for me to look forward too and it would be nice to take you on the journey.
Vanlife for me is just beginning, it's a great adventure and I'm loving it. 😍

When I was 10 in 1962 seven of us and two dogs went from Lancashire to Cornwall over three days in a Ford Anglia..This vehicle would be like heaven !!!!are we getting too fussy now??? Thanks for the video

Did similar myself in a Chevette (brown with 1 yellow door, although I was a child at the time) pitched a tent and enjoyed life. We are indeed spoilt these days.

I have a similar size campervan and it has a roof bed as well offering sleeping for 4 in total but I would never dream of it. My wife and I use it regularly but for a group of 4 when we take the grand kids we tow a 4 berth fixed bed caravan with it. A caravan is much better for larger groups of people, particularly if you are trapped inside in bad weather.

what’s your views on petrol t6.1 campervan?

@@finnps8795 I actually quite like the petrol,
although very rare (I actually talk about one in an upcoming video) There are a few benefits, sound better, cost less to maintain etc, however personally for me as I do a reasonable amount of miles, the fuel cost would be too much.
If I had another car, I would be more likely to get the TSI, but as a daily for me, it would be too much. Id be wanting it to sing at every opportunity
