Some will also put Haile Selassie I over or under the Civil Rights Movement that was happening in the U.S.A when He spoke to support African Americans in what they were doing aswell. You also have those that because they Christians or Catholics they choose to be against Rasta because they cannot understand Haile Selassie I or the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. That's my understanding of what is and was happening I have seen that at Haile Selassie I's coming all Africans stood up for they Rights not just Ethiopia and Haile Selassie I alone even thou He was the face of all Black people in the West aswell as in Africa.
