    I ordered the STLs and 3D printed one. It is very well designed and the suction is awesome. I designed and printed a reducer to hook it up to the latest quiet yellow shop vac. Great suction and it is really easy to use.

    Thank you for sharing this fantastic video! I truly appreciate your thorough coverage of all the dust boots, along with the detailed breakdown of their pros and cons. I haven't seen this simple level of analysis from anyone else. Additionally, I'm eagerly anticipating the unveiling of your new design!

    Man I love your vids. I've been thinking about a simple tower light that blinked for a tool change or when an error has occurred. I'm not smart enough to know if the Masso can do it but I'm sure you are. BTW I have the V10 dust boot from pwn. Someone in the 1F fb group suggested a monitor arm on Amazon. I LOVE it. I can move my masso around and it's so much more convenient.

      Thanks for watching! I'm glad you're enjoying them. Have you looked at the tower light video on this channel? Sounds like it does what you want and more. You could get a single light tower if you really wanted, or just wire up any 24V LED light instead of a tower.

      Geez I'm sorry I just watched your vid on the tower light. Exactly what I was looking for 👍🏼

    Great Work!!! Can you use this dust boot with an ATC if the ATC pulls tools from the rear of the machine instead of the left side?

      You can, but it’s not ideal. The best option is to use the Sidekick. It’s also in a video on this channel, and available at UglyDogWoodshop.com.

    You dont find the loss in Z clearance an issue?

      I only found it to be an issue when I was using the rotary.

    What do you use for a dust collector??

      I use a 5HP ClearVue system. It's awesome but possibly overkill for most small shops.

    Can I use this even with a Makita router? The Big Suck

    • @UglyDogWoodshop
      @UglyDogWoodshop  10 місяців тому

      Unfortunately, no. It's only set up for a 80mm spindle. I have considered adapting it though. I wonder how much interest there would be in that.

      @@UglyDogWoodshop Why would this not work with the Makita?

    • @UglyDogWoodshop
      @UglyDogWoodshop  9 місяців тому

      @@JohnJohnson-zk1rr it's designed for an 80mm spindle, so the opening wouldn't seal well with a small router. I'm hoping to make a routers and 65mm spindles at some point.

    What legs/mounting apparatus are needed for the PwnCNC 80mm spindle with a z20 mount for the big suck?
    I went to the previous video where I asked this question, but all of the comments were gone.

    • @UglyDogWoodshop
      @UglyDogWoodshop  10 місяців тому

      It comes with legs. You need:
      - PwnCNC Bracketing - Thumb Screws: pwncnc.com/products/bracketing-thumb-screws?variant=41621281964171&ref=qpV7vrEk5xLGzo
      And you need something to keep the weight of the hose off the back, such as:
      - PwnCNC Ultimate Hose Clamp 4" Vertical: pwncnc.myshopify.com/products/ultimate-hose-clamp-attachment?variant=39676967649419&ref=qpV7vrEk5xLGzo
      - PwnCNC Ultimate Hose Clamp Base: pwncnc.com/products/ultimate-hose-clamp-base?_pos=1&_sid=9c391afbf&_ss=r&variant=41200972562571&ref=qpV7vrEk5xLGzo
      - PwnCNC Extension Arms: pwncnc.com/products/ultimate-hose-clamp-arms?variant=41745034903691&ref=qpV7vrEk5xLGzo *only necessary with aftermarket drag chains. 3" in total will clear our Large Drag Chain Bracket system.

    Is there a version for 2.5" hose? Or would that not work well.

    • @UglyDogWoodshop
      @UglyDogWoodshop  10 місяців тому +1

      there isn't. I haven't tested how well that would work, but I should do that soon.

    I'm anxious to see what you (and PwnCNC) come up with for the ATC dustboot. My #1 "must-have" is a removable front piece for video making. I'd also love for it to be mount from underneath like my v2 and the v9 and your current boot, but I don't think that'll be possible with the ATC tool holders aligned with the Y axis...which is how I'd prefer to have mine setup. But having to align them at the back along the X axis isn't a deal breaker for me, but the removable front is definitely a must-have. But that's just me. If I wasn't a YT content creator it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

    I really like your design.
    Having to place an order with you and PWN is a big turn off for me.

      I understand. I'm trying to be a good member of the community since their v9 was a big piece of the inspiration for this boot. You can get by without their UHC if you have another method of supporting the hose.
