I don’t really comment. But watching kishor’s film and him getting an 8 made me google the term biodiversity which popped up as “Biodiversity is all the different kinds of life you'll find in one area-the variety of animals, plants, fungi, and even microorganisms like bacteria that make up our natural world. Each of these species and organisms work together in ecosystems, like an intricate web, to maintain balance and support life.”…I just feel that his film is more inclined towards people and culture rather than Biodiversity. Which is little unfair to the other teams.

Ghumante has portrayed the real theme of biodiversity in his video. Other videos are also appreciable but Ghumante’s video was purely ‘biodiversity’. He deserves more than 6.5.
All teams are great. However TEAM GUMANTE is better then other, in my Opinion. They are truly a Team that are presenting the environment accurately. Despite of time and resource constraint, your achievement is beyond any marks. Hats-off.
This is what happens when you have only one judge in the show who lacks critical thinking and knowledge/know-how about the country. The aim of this show is to aware people (Nepali and others) about Nepal and the beauty it has. Most general people seek information, experience and facts about the locations - which teams such as Nepal.Food, Ghumante, Sahana, Mannsi are providing. The technical aspects should never be the main factor; I have not seen a tourist who has visited Nepal because the video was shot with technicality and good color and lighting etc. etc. People seek for raw footages from the location.
I am shocked to see Ghumante scoring so low for this theme. They have put in so much effort and it shows in their video; no wonder they are the most loved travel channel in Nepal. I do not know what Busan Ji saw in Kishor and Abin's video this time; they missed the marked big time. Again, the technicality of the video should not be the most important thing - if they wanted to bring expert videographers, why did they invite people like Nepal.Food, Mannsi and Ghumante who are not technically the best? I am not going to take the markings seriously and just enjoy the show from now on! Thanks!
Very well said. As a tourism entrepreneur i am failing to understand what this project of making video will contribute to making a tourist spend money, enjoy the country and help the local economy. its one thing to make a video and take a photo but taking tourist there and giving them the service is a completely different challenge. and i couldn't agree with you more here that there is no other team than Ghumante that has portrayed the raw beauty of Nepal, reaching a destination, details everything. They have discovered Khaphuche Lake where now it is a very popular destination and the locals are benefitting from tourism inflow.
I think there should be more judges rather than one... Single person ko perception and decision jasto matra bayo... No doubt about how great a Bhusan sir is.. Still I think having more judge will be fair on marking.
@Global Market hunna sakxa...Everyone one has its own way of looking things.. Perception sabai ko farak farak hunxa...may be hami lae just simple tarika lae haereko huna sakxa... We mostly judged on the basis of visually and I am pretty sure we lack technical part and some basic components of making video but Bhusan sir is aware about all of these.
Still having more judges would have been better I guess..
I am disappointed with the judges marking to the creators. One who missed the theme is marked high on the basis of cinematography. I thought show is much more about finding 'Yodha' who define Nepal rather than one who portray placer mining of gold. I gained nothing from Lumbini Pradesh about the biodiversity theme. The placer mining methods can also be seen in banks of Karnali, Kaligandaki rivers.
I felt Team Ghumante and Team Darsan did much more than Team Kishor and are deserving at least 7.5.
All the teams are deserving and awesome but I personally like the 'Ghumante' most no matter how much they get the marks because they have explored and promoted the remote beautiful places of Nepal where the transportation is not available, since very beginning while I came to know other teams from this competition only😁✌️and does other teams are ready and capable to trek days and months to promote hidden and remote areas of Nepal like Ghumante always do????????

For me only team ghumante, sahana and darshan lived upto the theme. and they should have got great marks. cinematography, editing lai matra focus garne ho bhane I guess they should change the name and theme of the show.

Team Kishor ko story unique xa. Unique not only in Nepal but in whole world, usko film herera sansar ko sabai manis le (note: sansar ko sabai, English nepali nabujhne manxey le pani) Nepal ko khola ma sun pauxa bhanne kura bujhna sakxa.

GHUMANTE has done the best in this category whatever the scoring was provided. The main theme was to show biodiversity of each province and team ghumante has presented this beautifully in their video❤
There must be judges panel.. It feels like Bhusan Dahal is more inclined towards few people. Undoubtedly Sahana Bajracharya and team presented bio-diversity in fantastic way which literally brought goosebumps. Let's hope for better judgment in upcoming episodes. ✌️
The program should be named as cinematic competition rather than imagine nepal, it's freaking so unfair that the guy with the more information giving indepth knowledge about the given title is getting less marks. I personally didn't know that madya pradesh was so rich in biodiversity, now I get to know through ghumante video and i think the main aim of this project is to make people aware about all the aspects of the pradesh. If the title is given to explore then its should fulfill its criteria we the people are seeking for the information as per the title given.
I may be wrong but what i see and what i feel is ghumante video was way more beautiful with lots of information and he deserves good marks.

The marking provided is totally awful. The contrast between Team Ghumante and Team Kishor exemplifies how arbitrary the scoring is. Ghumante may not have been the finest, but they were certainly superior in terms of receiving better marking than many other teams. And it appears that team Kishor is simply counting on higher grades since Bhusan Dahal is incapable of making his the great photographer friend upset.
totally agreed . You said exactly what i was thinking. Marking also should have categories like based on flora you got 5 and based on founa you you got 3 points in this category. Bhusan Dahal is totally failed in this.

Now what I am feeling that ghumante team shouldn't have gone for this show. They aren't getting the respect they deserve.
Team Abin giving the Aesthetics vibes through his video. His color grading was on point. The way he delivered the message through his video was all clear. For me its the Team Abin who deserves much !!
And still he got less than Kishor who even did not know the subject 😊
With respect, Bhusan Dahal sir may know about filmmaking/cinematography but seems to lack knowledge on biodiversity.
First, there should have been at least 2 judges - for e.g., judge 1 scrutinizing cinematography/filmmaking (Bhusan Dahal, eg.) and judge 2 scrutinizing the film's relevance to the topic (subject matter expert, eg., environmentalist for this episode).
Plus, judging should have been TRANSPARENTLY divided into criteria, eg; cinematography (25%), topic relevance (25%) and effort (20%) - totaling 70%. This would also make Bhusan sir's comments to videos more structured - now his comments are unstructured, unjustified, and somewhat boring as it feels he is trying hard to comment and express words based on whatever comes to his mind.
Also 70% judge and that too just 1 person, and 30% public? Too much power on 1 person who clearly seems to lack expertise on every aspect of judging - arrogance?? Too less trust on public??
In the end, whichever team connects to the majority of the public matters the most and the public is more about emotions and storytelling and smoothness (not necessarily about cinematography and technicalities only). Is this program for public/tourists/people/Nepal's progress, or for your own self-satisfaction - perhaps the program's designers/judge/team need to ask themselves. 😊

I feel Bhushan sir is biased to kishor team. He always ends up getting more marks than other great team. His cinematography is great but he lacks narrative and we cannot connect to his video.

I do not always comment and that too criticize someone is something I try to stay away from. However, there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about biodiversity in the video by team Kishor! I nearly fell off my chair when he ended up with 8 points.
Am I naive or something? Somebody, please explain because it does not make any sense. He should have gotten below 5, for his video had nothing to do with the given topic.

It seems like the categories are there for no reason at all. If anything this video can get points if it was for a free topic. I can see him trying to squeeze in a few shots to include biodiversity which again are totally irrelavant to the story he's trying to portray.

I'm very disappointed in how biodiversity terminology is used in this show. The term "biodiversity" refers to the diversity of life on Earth at all levels, from genes to ecosystems, and can include the evolutionary, ecological, and cultural processes that keep life going. Creators Please give me the answer. Did the Lumbini Pradesh video justify its designation as a biodiversity topic? It is worth it to be awarded eight points. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the Lumbini Pradesh team. In terms of biodiversity, you have a lot of enriching content. Please dig deeper and accurately represent your findings. What happened to Baridya, Jagdispur taal? you guys missed lot of things.
Perhaps judge sees the thing differently than us, but personally I felt he is being baised( supports to the person he knew previously like sahana and kishor)kishor had the least biodiversity this time and the previous yet gets the highest marks.
He mentioned literature plays important role, yet the one with good cinematic and literature presentation gets the lowest mark.

For darsan cinematic there is no complain but for narration 10 grade student reading her social studies essqy on biodiversity jasto vayo.

Content is not only about cinematics. I am not questioning about judgement. But International documentary's frame are not always cinematics, even though we can connect with them. Information, perception, storytelling, background and native music, lifestyle also plays vital role in videos.

What I personally think is Bhusan ji has a biased opinion , by comparing both kishor's and ghumante's work we can clearly see ghumante has more elements regarding the topic than kishor's , although "CINEMATIC" aspect was lacking in terms of ghumante but I think they deserves more than 6.5 points on this one.
Abin's Perspective is refreshing! Not Pedestrian to capturing Flora and Fauna only. This is the perspective which is rarely portrayed to masses. Great work 👏

This types of programme need more judging panel ,besides keeping only one Coz it rise in Biased opinion. However , Pure Nepalese Community Loves Ghumante and their work ethics. And Last but not the least, the Judgement seems too poor.

Bhusan Dahal is really biased when it comes to Sahana and Kishor. How come they got 8.5 and 8 whereas Ghumante and Darshan got only 6.5? The same thing happened on previous category as well. We need more judges.

Team Ghumante are so under rated in this competition . But they deserve better marks than what they are getting. I agree Darshan and Sahana's team were thematically the best in this episode , but Ghumante weren't the worst. How does gold refining justify the theme of biodiversity . only great cinematic shots don't justify a good story telling . Ghumante are as good as other story tellers in the competition .

totally dissatisfied and disappointed with the markings. If you are including a technical video theme like biodiversity, you must do your homework of understanding about it. As a student of this discipline, I can confirm that Ghumante's film did the most justice to the actual biodiversity of Madesh province and Darshan's film was the closest to the concept of biodiversity and extremely informative. To cut some marks on the basis of cinematography is one thing but to establish such contrast between these films and the one by Kishor undermines the integrity of the entire show. especially since kishor's film has left me scratching my head trying to relate it in any way with 'biodiveristy'. to provide the simplest of context there are three types of biodiversity, one is diversity within species, one among species and one among ecosystems.
This makes me feel like no show must have a single judge.
This show should have more judges. Unhappy with the score they got today. Shahana did a great job there, I agree, but how on earth did Ghumante get the lowest score where some others were not even the standards.
All the member have done beautiful job, in terms of subject ghumante has done more beautiful job than other and In the matter of judging both cinematographic and subject should be included. (my point of view )

Seems like the theme of the presentation doesn’t matter at all; if you need to score high the presentation needs to be only cinematically good enough. Personally I feel like this show is not giving enough respect to Ghumante who has done more than this show is trying to do already to show every nook and corner of Nepal. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻

I am still confused why Kishor received 8 points while the other contestants received comparatively lower points. Kishor's documentary is hardly related to biodiversity.
Bhushan Dahal Sir and Suraj Singh Thakuri Sir knowing Team Kishore in personal manner is making the judging very biased as he didn't even touched the main Subject BIODIVERSITY..

Points are being given in a very biased way. I can't believe lumbini got more points than ghumante and darsan, not to mention abin bho. And 30% public isn't enough too. Not a fair marking.

On considering the episode "people and culture", I thought this program is meant for unveiling the unexplored purity of the tourism potentials. Literature, abstraction and metamorphic build up indeed adds the value but shouldn't be let to supersede the theme of the program i.e. to mine, extract and depict the tourism possibilities. For me in the straight sense without the space for twinning, except the video of ghumate and team bagmati, it seemed to be the problem identification coverage for the policy of conservation of bio-diversity and for me it seems to be irony for such video being rated high.
Team Kishor today's video suits more in People and culture .The video was absolutely phenomenal but

all the films are really beautiful i enjoyed on those films . Snow leopard and red panda topicks make me curiosity to more explore but it doesn't meand that others are not good . Birds migrated from Siberia (Africa) can be seen most of the parts of Mahendranagar and few parts of kanchanpur for 6 months long period on the fields and up in the sky. ❤️❤️

What I think is that giving low point to team ghumante is the strategy of director and production team of this programme. Look in the comment section everyone is talking about the marks given to ghumante. This ultimately helping this programme to become more popular. Last time I was disappointed with province 1's film they killed it this time. Got goosebumps this time, and sahana's voice oh my god it provided character to the entire film. Proud of you team
Team Ghumante's video lacked cinematic touches, the frame and angle were little off, it felt like a vlog. But there was a whole lot of information on biodiversity hence they deserved more points on the ground of bio diversity.
Team kishor's video was cinematic no doubt on that but they missed the topic and were completely off board. I don't know how they got so high marks.
6.5 for team ghumante and 8 for team kishore wow "ramrolai hoina hamrolai" jata pani jaile pani😂
