There's absolutely nothing wrong with me, I'm 100% vegan, and I eat healthy, I love kale, spinach, broccoli, lettuce, collard greens etc. I drink green smoothies two times a day every single day and I always add flaxseed and spiralina in there when I make it. I also love my fruits, I never get tired of eating them especially banana. Sometimes my husband ask me if I'm a monkey to be eating so many bananas in a day. It's an expensive lifestyle yes, but I do not put junk food into my body. When I say I've never been constipated, I mean I've never been constipated, my poop being green is from the green foods I put in my body. As a health care worker I know iron pills make your poop dark like tar, and you also suffer constipation while taking iron pills, so therefore I do not take any iron pills. If you do not believe me that is your problem not mine, but you try that lifestyle for one week, and you will see exactly what I'm talking about, and how your life will change tremendously, whatever you put in your body that's what will come out of it, I eat lots of greens and fruits to help me go freely when I need to go, I don't eat any junk food that will allow me to force it out. also I am very sure there are people who live that same exact lifestyle as me, and they will say to you exact same experience that I'm saying to you now. Life is worth living, try it if your haven't already, and you will see how sweet and exciting your life can be.

....this guy is just a beginner in the natural health world. He's part of pop culture and trendy gossip, not real healing info. For starters our poop takes on colors according to what we eat. If we're into the "SAD" way of eating our excrement will be in the range of browns. If we're primarily plant based, limited seeds, nuts, beans and grains then we get more range of color. Eating a lot of spinich our stool would have a lot of black tones with splashes of green. Lots of beets make stool intense red. Carrots, mangoes, squash, sweet potatoes etc, yellow-orange... Doctors don't have a clue!

I disagree about the laxative, that makes your gut lazy, the best thing is either a stool softener or Miralax or store Brand equal. I am also on medications that cause constipation have been on them for many years. I found that the miralax worked better.
In either case from the replies, be careful and very observant as to what your digestive system is doing (cramps, loose stools, constipation, odors, passing gas). Talk to your doctor about all of this. When I was on narcotics for an extended period of time, I developed constipation and didn’t tell my doctor. My GI system slowed down and then stopped functioning. I formed a large bezoar (mine was fiber and undigested food) that I needed surgery for and then I had to take meds to force muscle contractions until my system balanced itself out.
Constipation caused by opioids will not be solved by fiber. The opioids paralyze your colon which causes lack of motility or movement. I work for a pain clinic and see this all the time. Their are specific medications like Movantik or Relistor that will get you moving again. Ask your doctor about opioid induced constipation medications and they should be able to help you. Laxatives are not the answer either depending on how many opioids you are taking.

I had CDIF when i was in the hospital bc they had given me so much antibiotics that it killed the good flora and fauna( they called it). And so everyone who entered my room had to wear paper suits and masks so I woukdnt get sick from outside germs.
They also mainly wore the protective gear to protect themselves. Health care workers are exposed to people like this every day. They cannot risk their own safety.
I had severe case of constipation, thought of going to doctor. Drank a large glass of water every 2 hours (same amount as hydryting before starting out on all day bicycle ride) (drink until you are full) drank at 8am, 10am, 12pm and 2pm. After a day or so constipation problem was over, pooped. Still drink lots of water every day. Urin of pale yellow is good indicator of hydration.
Jump23man, try taking a handful of raisons, between 20 - 40, and eat them with a glass of water. Raisons have a natural laxative effect. The water helps to soften stools. Anyway, this is a natural solution and is known to work.
