Please define "toxic masculinity" and what does "toxic femininity" look like?
Hate the phrase 'Toxic Masculinity', has no place in a society of young lads growing into men and hearing that they are already assessed as being toxic before they ever begin to be an adult.
An extremely toxic and horrific phrase that needs eradicating or re-wording into something more honest and less condemning.
If you can listen to what is being said, "toxic masculinity" is not "man bad." It's a particular set of expectations and norms that limit the range of acceptable male behavior to an unhealthy and frankly inhuman degree. Dude is trying to advocate FOR y'all and your wellbeing and you can't even hear it.
@@irradiated_woman8016 .... snd yet there is no equivalent phrase of 'Toxic Femininity' as someone else pointed out here in messages. It would rightly be very roundly condemned were that phrase to become a thing.
At no point do I condemn Dr Das, I condemn the phrase wherever it may have come from.
This phrase gets used in a toxic way by certain radical feminists who will abuse its meaning knowing full well that it will be perceived in a bad way by an uneducated audience.
So my friend your the toxic one.
