The liberation of many women through earning their own salary in the context of male-driven post-World War II, pre-feminist culture of the 1950s created many challenges. Her own relationship with Earl Tupper was volatile, and their differences became irreconcilable after Wise's success turned her into a celebrity. In January 1958 Tupper forced Wise out. Soon after every reference to her was removed from company literature. She owned no stock and left with a severance package of one year's salary - about $30,000.
Wise attempted to form her own party-plan cosmetics company, Cinderella, but was unsuccessful; after this she largely faded from view and died in relative obscurity in 1992. Soon after Tupper parted ways with Wise, he sold the Tupperware organization to Dart Industries for US$16 million.
I have some tupperware with me.some of it are broken and some have stain.i dont know ho can i remove the stain.they say tupperware can be replace ince its broken or got stain.
My mom's Tupperwear has withstood for decades. No staining or breakage. Seal is perfect. Tupperwear does not require a lot of care in general. If your kitchen has a lot of oil smoke, then store ALL ur containers, be it Tupperwear or otherwise inside cupboards. Tupperwear requires minimal maintenance, just wash with hot water (not boiling hot) and soap. Dry with tissue and you are done. As for Tupperware breaking...is it their glassware? The fancy oven to table one? Never heard of their plastic tupperwear breaking.
Wonderful... Tupperware is ready for a revolution.. Back to its roots of training, motivating, and ensuring products match the original goals

I am a Tupperware lady and I don’t have my Mom to help me as I did the first time I sold Tupperware.
Great documentary about true product design and marketing pioneers. It's unfortunate the sound on this upload drops out periodically.
The sound is muted at times for music copyright reasons by UA-cam

Tupper was a moron. You can never pay a good sales manager enough. RIP Visionary Brownie Wise.
