Honestly if they let jq marinate a bit into the game for a couple of months kiriko wouldn't be that much of an issue but they legit released her already weak asf then kiriko drops as well
It wouldn't have even been that bad if kiriko wasn't also meta with tons of survivability in 5 v 5. Like if she was more static like an Ana, then she would be less oppressive and give more room for every other support and JQ. But she can just be anywhere instantly and save whoever immediately or the whole team with one CD
Tbh shes pretty gimmicky imo. Her bleed mechanic seems good in paper but in practice it just fuckjng sucks. If they increased the regen on it or gave her more hp she would be better. Shes bassically what happens if you give roadhog more damage but nerf his hp. For doom low hp is fine cause he can move fast and create hp from dmg. They tried the same thing with queen but because she has no movement,low bulk, and low range she can’t do much. Unless your team pushes with you. In a way she kinda snowballs as the closer you get, the more bleed you get, and the more your opponents retreat as they perpetually lose hp. However if you don’t have a pocket or anyone pushing with you she kinda just goes in and dies
It isnot just that her healing so low her and only ability to mitigate damage and for movement is on 14 sec cooldown and her damage isnot insane either she is really fun to play by d tier in the game so sad
when I used to one-trick a character that was considered weak in another game and someone said shit, I would just say "I'm in the same elo as you playing this bad character so I must be better than you"

The other thing is she’s new, I feel a new character has to be crazy op for people to respect them as people don’t have the mastery on them like they do with old characters, like doom can be trash but people have 1000 doom hours to compensate. That has an effect on tier list ranking aswell I feel I’m 60 hours into her now and honestly just see her as stronger roadhog
@@itsyaboi8515 doom has his place and his niche, even if it’s just ruining my games (doom can make queen unplayable) Neither are as weak as people think however both take alot of practice to get the same value that roadhog gets in game 1. They have higher skill floors but also higher skill ceilings.
My buff for JQ would be add a point of overhealth for every bleed tick (maybe less maybe more- idk I didn't crunch numbers), add 2 seconds of anti from carnage & buff her pellet spread somehow. I don't think she needs a huge buff, just overall gameplay bumps so she can do her thing better. It really seems to me her main weakness is the perception of her as a character & people losing morale and becoming toxic/tilted over it
My buff to JQ would be removing Kiriko/s cleanse and giving suzu a slightly longer duration, she already gives immortality. That would buff JQ, also buff Ana (who has fallen out of the meta HARD ever since Kiriko release), and indirectly nerf hog who everyone agrees is killing ranked + making other tanks boring
I don't think people realize that overwatch is literally a team game? If the team doesn't work together then you will lose no matter what character you play. Also I think junker queen isn't bad at all. She is just hard to play which is the best part about her.

Junker queen doesn't have a shield, self heal like hog, or damage negation like orisa, she doesn't even have mass to hide behind as a teammate. She's not horrible but she's not as good as other tanks, so it makes sense that people would complain about having a junkerqueen when they could have any other tank that's better to play around as a team. Instead, the supports are being dived on by Winston, and junkerqueen is getting hooked and can't do anything to survive it, only to blame it on supports and the rest of the team. Junkerqueen has the least survivability out of all the tanks.

Imo they should just make junker queen dps, they added 2 tanks in the game in the first to seasons and only 1 was free to play, the main problem i see is that she’s just not tanky enough and thats whats making her so bad, no hate but like u can be incredibly skilled but sometimes skill can only get u so far

I think that she is still a off tank and blizzard doesn't buff her. if she got some adjustments (like doomfist) she can be viable
