We have heard this one before. Being we are a 3m shop, there is no difference in clarity seeing out between even our entry level and ceramic. All have excellent clarity. Not sure what brands have this issue or if its a real thing but if one of their films has better clarity than the other i would be wary of that brand. Hope this helps!
@@ztechwindowtint I think they meant is it not quite as dark on the inside with ceramic vs traditional. I have the same question, I know if you have something like 5% with regular tint it's very difficult to see out at night, but I have heard with ceramic it's not as dark on the inside. I'm dropping off my truck tomorrow and I'm still trying to decide if ceramic is worth it or not.
@@forster46 With 3M there is no better ability seeing out of ceramic from the inside over even their entry level film. All have the same quality of clarity. Could be true for other brands but nothing ive seen for myself. 3M is great quality from low end to high end all the way through.
We havent seen any issues. A lot of us have it on our personal vehicles as well. Crystalline would have a look like that more than Ceramic IR. Some higher performing films have "low angle haze" which happens in certain angles where the light hits the window just right and you see into the film and the particles inside the film making it appear hazy. Sometimes you just have to weigh out if you want a high performing film with that characteristic or just a standard film for looks only.

Can you see through the ceramic tint better from the inside of the car or is that a myth ?

I've read a lot of reviews saying that the 3M Ceramic IR Tint has a lot of hazing issues making it difficult to see through.
