thank you 💝 I hadn't realized that I was identifying with "my conditioning" in the clinging to the persistent sense of a separate self.
It's been a sticking point for the thoughts and attention -- noticing that my actions and behaviors and reactions often (but not always) made sense from the perspective of the story of me and the story of "my" conditioning and background and wiring and what not. The fact that they made sense was propping up resistance to the non-existence of a doer and a separate self, without full awareness of that.
It's not my conditioning. It's just conditioning. Perceived from the apparent perspective of this body-mind. Reacting as an empty phenomenon. Unraveling emptily. I'm not undoing myself. I'm just aware of patterns changing and dissolving. The conditioning continues to be seen and dissolve (oftentimes quite rapidly and surprisingly). It's not my conditioning.
Noticing in the writing of this that I am still holding an expectation that the falling away of identification with a separate self is an event, or wishing it to be an immediate and complete event for me, instead of the ongoing dissolving of layers upon layers.
I so appreciate what you are moved to speak and share in this way.

don't be so quick to judge. it's easy to confuse true ecstasy with bubbly over-emotionality. mature ecstasy can be supremely peaceful & sober. plus, if you listen to a few of suzanne's videos, it's clear she's still going through a process. i think the sadness you see is remnants of old conditioning. even at the stage where she is, i feel her insights are uncommonly deep and bring many a lot of relief. but perhaps when she's an arahat, she'll be even happier! :-)

Receding in awareness is all that occurs
Receding focus - like driving a car and seeing the road the trees the landscape other cars people signs etc the "world" yet if you pull back recede your focus from the "world" and focus on the windshield with which we see through.who we truly are is that far away always ther but never noticing it. We are an infinite clear aware windshield. Lol no borders having a finite experience being captivated with the landscape as real.

This has been very helpful as I have been feeling just as you have described like an animal who just wants to lie down and be left alone to die. For several weeks now I have come to the realization that there is nothing “I” can do. And maybe the the last week or so I have felt such a heaviness (like looking into a black hole and seeing nothing. A lot of emotions came bubbling up and tears came from nothing concrete and yet seemed to encapsulate the life I thought I I was living. This black hole feels very heavy and hopeless…

Try allowing your body to be moved by spirit. Your body moves just fine, your mind will freak out. I've been tapped on the shoulder by spirit, guided energetically through my heart. If I'm aligned I find things as if they had a magnetic pull. The real question is why were all tapped on the shoulder now.
Do you do something for achieving this alignment? Meditation or something else?Or it just happens? I don't have a guide or teacher to help me understand the inner workings of this new way of life. I was trying to find the Truth whole my life and then everything just changed and I feel naturally quite lost. Any help from you, would be greatly appreciated. ❤️
Believe it's possible. Focus on the heart, Dr Joe heart meditation is great. After you open your heart enough it stays open. If you can stay in a meditative state you simply ask questions. And ask for the answers to move head left or right. Left for yes, Right for no. I've tuned down to just slight pressure left side right side of my face. But the answers you receive are always right

After watching a video of him now I can say that I think my heart is and has always been open, this huge black opening to vast space at the center of my chest and there was nobody to tell me what it was. Hence the confusion of mind by the impressions of the noisy world. How open is it? I have no idea but it was activated three years ago and I feel the energy of life going through me constanly since then. I hear it's sound even and it's working on something apparently without "me"actually knowing it and that's the cause of further confusion at the moment. Not knowing what is going to happen or should be done next.. Perhaps the one in need of knowing must completely disappear?...because "my" life has become quite uneventful in quantity but magical in quality...I am learning from you guys the vocabulary of the experience and hopefully how to work with it. ❤️ What you mentioned about asking questions and getting answers is not something that I have tried or experienced yet. The sense of "me" is just a bunch of thoughts and memories, and even the sense of control/wanting the world to be a particular way, being a saviour, seeking enlightenment, etc. even this comment and anything involving dualistic languages, arises from thought.
As of last Friday, body has started spasming as I abide by Self. Strange.
I used to say to myself, just skip to the end. The end being.. 'enlightenment', or 'realization'. But there's no skipping. It's got to be lived. It does take forever, and time is just cruising. Meanwhile, the stuff of the life keeps happening and one is still participating.
I'm thankful, for voices like yours, coming from a place with no grasping, but the voice still arises. Thanks for sharing the qualities of your experience

Thank you! I laughed so hard at the truth of the first words of truth that come out of your mouth. Not only do I understand what you're saying, I FEEL it. The paradox (if there was one) is that even when you realize "you" are like a character in a movie projected onto a blank screen, "you" still experience that character. What is the utility of this information? Don't waste your time with the projections of patriarchal domination, guilt, and punishment regurgitated by traditional theocracies. They haven't a clue. No deity needs to save you from what you already are. In this experience of "self"--a reflection of no-thing-ness projected onto a blank screen--it's okay to just be a decent human being. As the late comedian Bill Hicks said in his brilliant monologue, "It's just a ride."

The enlightened do know more then those who are asleep, even though there is nothing to know. This is because everything the asleep know, is a belief, is false. Everything the enlightened know, is nothing. So we could say 0 is more then negative 100...lol. I wouldn't say your longing has to be greater then everything else on this spiritual path, longing isn't the right word. The only way to end up enlightened, is to have an absolute willpower to get to truth, to find truth, no matter what it is, the dream world is so unbearable that you will take ANYTHING, that the truth is over carrying on in the dream. Though you can't become enlightened by trying to be. Not a single enlightened person ever sought it out. Because nobody knows what enlightenment is until you happen to experience it. And if the asleep knew what it was, nobody would want it.

How can you explain the dreams we have are made up. So explaining to my partner that his family etc aren’t “real” but he has clear memories of his self and his family; did I make that family up and my husband?
I somewhat disagree with what's being said here: There may not be a separate self anywhere but that's not to say there is no 'you'; of course, there's you. How else would you know that there's just what is happening? You, awareness, are fully present and knowing. Maybe it's just semantics but there's definitely a distinction to be made.
The “you”, “awareness”, etc. are just words/concept/ideas.

I think I understand when you say "You cannot understand this mentally." Only a non-dual could understand what you mean. I don't consider myself one, but I did have a brief experience decades ago in which I was "nothing" for an hour, and when you are in that state of being "nothing" you have no identity. So if you have no identity then yes, "you" (spirit) is not directly responsible of any of the causality created in the material world. Is this what you are getting at?
But I believe our material existence is not only responsible for causality, but will benefit and/or be the victim of it. Becasue God said literally "It rains on the good and the bad." We can be happy, sad, angry or remorseful about things here in this material world, but from where Suzanne comes from there is none of that, because there is just The Absolute. (This is just my theory.)

Science is just words and explanations which are pointers to what is unknowable, for example water has a name and a chemical compound but no one really knows what it actually is if that makes sense.

You still have to unravel your stories and beliefs before you can really apply non dual model. Dont overlap confuse stuff . Yes there are things within your system of thought belief and story is your model- when we get a peak into our infinite self for not change the finite belief system this part is ground work for freedom. If someone is doing wring there is no opinion. Yes we know the "right opinion" we knownthe truth of the matter.
There is no matter. There is no world. There is no self. But experience did occur. That which we call out past has direct influence on all that we believe to be even know with clear knowing of our true self. Our true nature.

I haven’t experienced the realization of no-person at this point. But, could someone clarify something for me?! Rupert spira and others talk about the “inner being”, “awareness” etc- which sometimes makes it sound as if it is an entity or form. Is this teaching of no-person the same as this because the being has no identifiable form, it could never be an object, thus it is essentially no-one, or nothing? Hope this makes sense
