    Wow, must be the best most waterproof shoes ever.. I would never have the nerve to walk so casually through a stream like that in these temperatures..

      Nice, thx for replying.. I will def check them out next time I have to get new shoes. Mine are north face shoes that were cheap on sale, so don't see them lasting many years.

    Just fantastic! I can't even begin to count all the different camera placements that go into making this video mesmerizing. I laughed hard at the first camp site when Marius said, "Lets get it up." "Lets get it in." Of course you were talking about...Oh yeah, the mattress! LOL, that was funny (or maybe am just a pervert!)
    Watching this video was like being there, that is until the snow shots, then I was transferred to Heaven! Stunning, absolutely STUNNING! Dinner looked fantastic, I could almost smell it. This video is going in my favorites, it's just beautiful!
    Marius and Jonathon I wish you the best in luck in hitting 500 subscribers (this will be a drop in the bucket compared to what you will end up having one day soon!)
    I'm amazed at how HAPPY my heart feels after watching one of your videos, thank you so much for all the work you do to put together such a smooth flowing, captivating video for all of us to watch. May the best things in life come your way! Thanks guys, Bibsoutdoors

      Well, so happy that i can make you feel like you`re there with me, nothing better than that! Appricate it alot! We hope that we can achieve it!
      Until next time, may the best things in life come your way aswell, buddy!

    Your video is very nicely produced, well done Marius! The steak, broccoli and potatoes looked very tasty. The snowy winter campsite beside the stream is magical. Thanks for sharing and I hope that you and Jonathon have a wonderful Christmas!

    Konge video!

    Norwegian Outdoors I am subscribing to your channel and looking forward to watching more. Did you have a partner helping video or did you do all these very excellent camera placements yourself? Wonderful talent you have for making beautiful videos.

    I love your videos, great filming and it never gets boring watching them! I love the idea of going out by myself, but somehow I don't feel comfortable when I'm alone out in the dark.. Here in Germany, camping like this is not legal, but I live in a very rural area with large training grounds and lots of nature around me... Maybe I have to give it a try next weekend.
    How do you keep yourself busy when not moving places ?

    • @woodsmenofficial2020
      @woodsmenofficial2020  6 років тому +1

      Thank you so much, Ruwen! Well, you are not alone with not feeling comfortable, this part can take time, and its different from person to person, i love it! But i think a part of that is because of my year in the army, we slept out alot, and after a while it felt normal for me, but it depends on your first time impressions aswell. Well, it sucks that its not legal, howcome?
      When it comes to keeping yourself busy it depends on your passion for this, you can always work on your bushcraft skills, wander and explore! You can download some movies or series on your phone for the late night entertainment when it gets dark.
      Alot of my time goes to work on the fire and eat/drink delicious stuff! If you`re lucky with your camping spot, you can always fish or hunt! (Depends on area)
      Tell me how it works out for ya! :)

      Hey Marius, I‘m actually in the military myself, but the time where I had to sleep in the woods is long gone.... In Germany, camping in the wild is not legal just in general, but I guess it’s an advantage that I live in an area with vast training grounds and uninhabited land. There are no people that will complain, but taking a tent with me is probably still too much. If it’s dry I can sleep on the ground with a tarp on top... And if I start to like it I can think about those super cool hammocks that you’ve got!
      I will give it a try next weekend as I’ll be skiing this weekend and maybe take a book with me or simply carve on a piece of wood with my knife and prepare some tasty food.

    I have a question concerning the Draumr and the sleeping bag... How do you keep the sleeping bag in place when you want to go to sleep ? I am always wrestling with this . When I get in , the sleeping bag always slides down :-(

    • @woodsmenofficial2020
      @woodsmenofficial2020  6 років тому +1

      Well, first of all, most sleeping bags are different in some what way, and some materials are more "slidy" then others, but the trick overall is to jump up in the amok ending in a position where you are flat and most of your weight in on your arse, with that flat position you have more control, and as you get in the sleeping bag, there should not be a problem! I have never had any struggle with this, but at first sight this can be tricky to figure out, but im sure you will find a method that works for you!

    • @defdac
      @defdac 6 років тому

      I think this problem is because when you lay perfectly flat it feels like you will tip over, so many have a slight angle downwards so the bag starts to slide down.

    • @Wijkkie

      defdac That could be also true, when the weather here in Holland gets a bit better I will try some different dives and youre solution !

      Ive had a similar problem, but ive used two small nonslip mats (amazon/ebay) and it makes it a little easier.
