Because the code is post catalytic converter (not before catalytic converter), when is before Cat converter the bank 1 sensor 1 reports the issue, on this case the oxygen sensor report a lot air compare to the good air/fuel ratio (14.7/1)
I am having the same issue, had a CEL for o2 sensor on B1 sensor 2 and along with the p2096. After changing the sensor out since both codes included the same sensor i am still stuck with the p2096, looking at the long term fuel trim levels B1 sitting at 18% at idle. I’ve searched for vacuum leaks but couldn’t find any not sure how to proceed
Gracias por compartir tus experiencias 👏👍
Es un placer 🙏🏼
Bank 1 sensor 1 is very lean...very surprised you did not get a lean code for that sensor also...
How now the parameters are the right in short end long fuel trim , in DTC P2096 2:42 2:45
The right mesure on the Fuel Trims is: 0-10% without load on both graphs, but in some cases 0-15% that's Good.
You have idea of P1600?
Why does the bank 1 sensor 2 report lean and not the bank 1sensor 1?

@@danielscustoms13 Just trying to understand. If there's a vacuum leak it seems like B1S1 would also be reporting lean.

So what was rhe problem?? I have rhe same thjng goin on@@Sjorge214
So what fixed the problem?
He said fix the vacuum leak (hose) and replace 02 sensor
