- On a lovely day near the end of February, I went out to see what I could see, and find whatever there was to find. I found a bottle dump sitting beneath a public park, and had a fun time exploring a place I've driven past many times..

#Mudlarking
There’s something really sweet about you emptying the water out of the coconut shell to give it a better chance of floating to the sea!
Listening to your voice man .. woo put me right to sleep..but not till I’ve seen the whole video . I enjoy them a great deal ...you see I have some medical problems and I get woke up a lot .sorry I hope not too make a idiot out of myself thank you for helping believe me this helps ..hope the day goes well and dry .. cheers and a sweet a due friend ..🙏🐺🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾💥👣👣👣👣👣👣
Thanks, I've had sleeping troubles myself occasionally, and my girlfriend is a chronic insomnia sufferer.... so I'm very glad they can have that effect and are helping people. I'm glad you enjoy the content too, not just the soporific effect; though I'd be OK with that too 🙂
As a child my Father always like looking for bottles and green lead glass he called it we would go along the River in Pottstown ,Pa. the Skulkill River it was big and would flood out and expose fresh finds ,,around this part there’s always been people if you go to maps it will take you right there lots of history as well . Have a good evening and say high to every one ... cheers ... from Colorado Springs,Colorado....
Wow I can’t believe I’m finding videos I haven’t yet seen of yours! You have clearly made a huge impact on the trash in that river. That alone makes your efforts heroic. Always, lovely to walk with you
Holy cow that bottle dump was a dream come true!!!
It's a small one for where I am; but yes, stumbling on one I didn't know was there was a wonderful surprise. 🙂
You always go to the most interesting, and different places. I love the fact that I can see different place of England that otherwise most of us would never see. Thank you.
I love the phrase "an onion on the beach because why not?", a nice one Tom. Currently binge watching your channel, and it's probably as close to England as I will ever get but your wonderful work is such a joy it's like a lovely waking dream. Be well and safe.
thanks once again, for having me along on your treasure hunt.... cheers from down under....
You are the king of small bottles. The Northern Mudlark girls would really be jealous!!
Kids used to break the cod bottles for the marble !! wee buggers ! I still remember playing marbles as a kid ! Wow that takes me back half a century !
Still haven't found an intact Codd bottle yet. One day. 🙂
Your videos make my mind think I'm taking a lovely lark with Bob Ross the painter. Very calm, beautiful, little fun facts about nurture and usually a critter friend along the way.
Bob Ross was a wonderful man, I'm happy to be thought of as having similarities with him. 🙂
Tom. I couldn't find the name of your artist friend? If you don't mind could you resend it please?! I wish I could put my email on here so you could give me more info about her! By the way I find your voice to be soothing. Peace. Teddye
If the romanticized version of Christopher Robin when mudlarking....... Thank you Tom. I've become quite addicted.
I'm pretty sure Christopher Robin would have gone mudlarking when all grown up, if he'd lived in a place with decent stuff to find, it's one of many grown up versions of messing about on the river.
Beautifully poetic narration. Thank you Tom.
Thank you so much for taking us on such lovely excursions. I also love bottles. Love from California.
I am from America I love watching you do your thing and I also love your voice so kind and gentle.
🐱😍🐺
Thanks 🙂
I love the way you, see, how much you can hold in one hand
So much envy the spaces and places you get to spend so much time in! Thanks for taking us along!
This was great and fun! I have been watching for a year or so.. from the USA...South Carolina
Ughhhh! So many things I'd grab up in a minute!
On a once in a while sort of adventure, yes... but when you're making a youtube channel based on going out regularly and finding things; sooner of later your house and shed(s) become too full to take much more. Have to be selective really.
I loved the rusty pot, great video as always.
One man's epitome of tastelessness in its entirety is another man's treasure.
Couldn't agree more. Most people wouldn't find the things I find to be treasures, and that's why they're still lying around, waiting to be found :)
Great video! We really enjoyed it. That bottle dump was very interesting, I'd be there all day I think.
Thank you... it's not quite so cool as a potentially 300 year old dumpsite in your own garden, but if you're ever headed to West Yorkshire, I'd be happy to tell you the locations of a few good sites, this one included.
@@tomburleigh9261 Fingers crossed we start to find some older stuff! We live in the Scottish Borders but are happy to travel, I'll let you know if we decide to venture down :) We don't know any locations of good bottle dumping sites to exchange but I do know where to find some amazing gems and minerals if you are interested, or if you are ever up north that is.
@@NorthernMudlarks I do love Scotland, and I'm keen on gem hunting and geology too. I'm too poor at the moment to travel up there anytime soon though... and I'm happy to share the locations with you regardless 🙂
@@tomburleigh9261 We also don't have the money to travel too far from home at the moment either, luckily we have enough close to home to keep us occupied at the moment. You're very kind to offer your locations so thank you very much! Let us know if you ever can come up though, I'd love to share some fluorite and quartz crystal locations :)
@@NorthernMudlarks Thank you, it's a tempting offer, I do enjoy rock hunting, but there's very few crystals here; aside from the occasional jewellery piece in the street, I've only found a rather malformed Amethyst and that was a long time ago. My unfeasable day-dream for this channel is to get a Camper van one day, a laptop and a few external hard-drives; drive down to the Jurassic Coast for some fossil hunting, and then work my way all the way up to Inverness along the East Coast; filming mudlarking, metal detecting, magnet fishing, bottle digging and fossil and rock hunting videos all along the way. 🙂
Love the sound of the river 😃 thank you again very peaceful😊
Thanks Mary, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
I love your voice and your commentary is poetic. Very relaxing video.
Thank you 🙂
Hello from Arkansas,USA. Thanks to the Johnson's channel , I found your channel. Enjoying your channel 🤗
Thank you, and welcome, I hope you get a lot of enjoyment from my past and future videos 🙂
Little rock here
Nice video, beautiful area.
Thank you 🙂
This is reigniting my fascination of found objects from when I went walking more. Great video Tom, very informative and relaxing, and thanks for the shout out!
Thanks Cat. I hope many more people will take a look at your awesome artwork as a result.
I thank you for helping clean up the environment! I suggest that you obtain a small bucket to carry all your finds. I carry a 2.5-gallon, cat-litter bucket with me when I am out with my metal detector. I pick up everything that I find as it sure makes it easier to carry it all home. I recycle all the metal items that I do not keep and all the trash that I pick up goes into the trash can for proper disposal. Carry on with the good search and remember to recycle all that you do not keep! ;-)
The "really ugly" vase: fill water to the bottom of the little pot shaped part, put a bulb (tulip, jonquil, etc.) into the little pot. You can force the bulbs to bloom in winter on a sunny window sill. Mom had several of these when I was a youngster.
I did bring it home, it was really the colour and pictures on it that turned me off... so I'll probably find someone else who appreciates it and give it them.
I loved all the porcelain pots I collect them and use them yard art
And another great video
Thanks, I use them mostly for keeping other finds in... but I might use some in my yard too 🙂
I’m afraid I’d need a train of shopping trolleys I would want to keep everything I found I love bottles tfs xx
A train would be a good amount of storage space; much better than what I've currently got. 🙂
Only in the beginning. Once you start seeing certain things over and over again they loose their charme 😉
You’re just precious, Tom! I love your videos, your soothing voice of polished diction, your interest in rescuing these relics of the past. Thank YU for this! And thank YU for gathering trash that should never have been left in the first place. Soo selfish...and irresponsible to leave such a beautiful and tranquil spot littered with...stuff. You’re the best, Tom!
Thanks Deb. Quite a lot of the rubbish wasn't really dumped into the river, but rather washed in off the streets by rain. Still selfish for people to be littering, but I guess most don't realise that it so easily ends up in the rivers, and then the sea. I'm glad you enjoy my videos so much.
Love the triangular bottle too! That was funny when you were talking about the snails and the white cup! I love your voice!
Thanks kelly 🙂
Lovely video! Thank you for picking up the rubbish. I try to do the same everyday while out walking. I normally have at least one bag full. It is a shame that so many people litter now. Not sure why.
Thanks Christine! And very well done on your regular litter picking efforts, I'm glad there are people who do such things.
All the rubbish left everywhere provides jobs--that's what a very self centered "friend" of mine would say. She left grocery carts out in the parking lot, not thinking that they took up parking space or might roll away and dent someones car. She unpacked boxes in our office strewing styrofoam in all directions, then looked at the mess and stated, "Well, that's what the janitor is for".
I love your videos Tom! Keep up the good work!
Thank you Tom, One thing I find quite remarkable in your log and others is the absence of people. everywhere seems empty. It just one episode I saw a lone dog walker. I think its interesting "the void"
.
I actively try to avoid filming people, (unless I'm mudlarking with them)... most people wouldn't mind, but some would be uncomfortable having footage of them up on UA-cam. 🙂
But you also keep yourself to be the enigma, Dearest ❣️
Very much enjoyed this pleasant walk and am especially grateful for you picking up all of that trash x
Thanks Shirley, I try to do some litter picking every time I go out, I'm glad it's appreciated even though it rarely feels like I'm making a dent. 😕
Thank you for collecting rubbish. Wish you more amazing finds.
Thank you. 🙂
13:45 is part of a gas lighting fixture. Really neat find!
Thanks, I figured it probably was, I just found it weird that it was a looped shape, and the lamp would be hanging down in the middle of it.
Loved it Tom. Well done on the river clean up! It's a shame they don't pay you xxx loved the crocodile
Getting paid to litter pick while making mudlarking videos would be awesome. Maybe I'll pitch it to the local councils one day :) Thanks Sue
Your voice relaxes me i enjoy your videos
I love the croc.
I like that toy alligator found it big I thought when you picked it up
You should be paid for your wonderful voice!
Thank you 🙂
Tom Burleigh you are welcome! You are funny too!
Nice to find a dugged bottle dump and some left over spoils
Yes, I enjoy finding such places, although this one was in a public park, so I wasn't all that impressed with the diggers who left unstable ground with overhangs.
you have quite a nice tone of voice my friend, definitely watching you in the future!
Well you did technically pull out that one bottle. Lol...love your videos.
Just found your page. Your voice is very soothing.
Thank you, I'm glad you think so 🙂
I got a giggle out you finding a crocodile in your river. Here in Texas, we have alligators! I like the rubber reptiles better myself. 😊
Ooh, I didn't actually know that about Texas, the world is full of surprises.🙂 I'd have to be a lot more careful than I am if I had the chance of coming across something like live Alligators.
I just found your channel and I like it very much, lovely scenery. We doesn't have anything like it here meaning dump sights like yours. Sorry if my English isn't so good. Greetings from Sweden, stay safe
Thank you, I'm very glad you enjoy it. Your English is much better than my Swedish. Greetings from the UK, stay safe and healthy. 🙂
Hi Tom. Enjoyed your video, the old walls are fascinating too. You have an Anthony Hopkins sort of voice, soothing; your a story teller😉enjoying your treks for first time staying in in MichiganUSA and you help pass the time👍
Thanks Spanky O. I hope you can stay safe and well through this crisis, and I'm glad my videos are helping as a distraction. 🙂
@@tomburleigh9261 well the same to you and your girlfriend. Thanks to your voice and videos I am able to transport to your countrysides and be away for a bit. Stay well. Enjoy the music too👍🌝
T believe the item you found that looks like a large lamp “harp” to hold the shade away from the bulb is just that, but for a hanging gas light, chandelier. The piece with the gnurled finger screw controls the gas coming into the hollow pipes that make up the body of the piece then screws into a gas piece that fits within the area of the glass shade held in place as the tubes second duty. Put on a gold or woven glass mantel, light the gas stream and you have a Very bright light. I’ve seen these in the old Plantation homes near Charleston, South Carolina.
Thank you Tom i watched your latest the other day then started at the beginning very nice work.
I love how you displayed the crocodile at the end. Love your videos. Around the9:30mark the glass blob reminds me of the tool used to make artist paints
fantastic , your voice is very therapeutic, it is very relaxing, keep up the good work tom. from Steven from south Elmsall / pontefract now, UTB,
wish I could double upvote, your videos are divine!!!
What a wonderful complement, thanks Kate.
What a wonderful vid! I kept saying "take this! Take that!" I can only dream of a place like this.
Thanks Trina. Was it the bottles you were saying "take this! Take that!" to? If so, another of my videos has a bottle dump 20x the size; which I'm aiming to go visit again soon.
@@tomburleigh9261 the bottles, the river glass! I'll be looking forward to your next adventure! Thanks for your reply
Afraid the next video is lacking in river glass and bottles, but most videos have them. I hope you'll enjoy it anyway. I try to respond to every comment, it's still a very small channel so I still can.
A most enjoyable evening spent with you on your trek for treasure! This time, especially, for it's length! Even though bottles don't bring me the joy they bring to others, there's something about the hunt and find that does give me happiness for the ones who appreciate them. Happy new year, Tom Burleigh!
Happy New Year to you too Gloria, and I hope 2020 is a lovely year for you. Like you, I don't find the same level of joy that others do in bottles; particularly if they're tough ones to clean... but the hunt is a fun and happy experience regardless.🙂
Hi! New to your channel. Love your music, love your soft speech which allows the sounds of nature to stand out. Interesting finds, too.
Thank you, I'm glad you find multiple things to enjoy in my videos🙂
Hello from Woodbridge Virginia USA! I've just discovered your videos and find your tone gentle and soothing. I've been watching videos from a couple of other mudlarkers. It's interesting how you each have favorite things to collect. I'm afraid I would grab everything because it's all so fascinating. And I truly appreciate that you gather plastics and soda cans. I hate seeing rubbish like that just thrown on the ground. Keep up the interesting videos!
That big long metal thing I think it was a part of a lamp the bottom would attach to a stand and the top piece you would attach the bulb and the lamp shade to it. Let me know if you found out exactly what it is. Thanks a lot for a very relaxing video. I am your new subscriber and this was my first video of yours. I found you because of a video that I had seen of the northern mudlarks. They didn't show your face but they did mention you and I think you had given them a gift of something you found with them, on that video. Also I want to tell you that your voice is very soothing. Please continue with this wonderful hobby of yours. I am a new fan as well as a fan of the northern mudlarks. 🇺🇸
Thanks Lorraine 🙂
It's called a harp.
What a lovely lark today! I so loved the pipe - great find! I also was quite taken with the clay vase, it can be used for so many things...even an orphaned alligator home! After my power being out for almost 12 hours last evening, from the high winds, it is such a wonderful pleasure to join you in your beautiful country. I love tagging along, listening to your stories and jokes, and also listening to the rushing water and walking in the sunshine. You are truly a treasure! So glad that I found you! Take care, see you soon! xx ~Jen
Thanks so much Jen. I'm very glad you get so much out of mudlarking videos... just as I do. Take care, and I'll be back soon. Tom
Thank You, Tom
Nice mix and the croc in the crock is hilarious:)
Cheers,
Rik Spector
I really like that area you would think the people that live around there would make a day of picking up the trash. I think that thing was a handle for some-kind of pump, maybe, just a wild guess. I really like those walkways down to the water looks like a nice place to sit and meditate soak up the sounds and sun and with a cup of tea and a small lunch.
It's quite likely that a lot of the people in the area don't think they can get down to the river; it's so walled in for most of it, and hidden behind a hedge in the park. I do wish there were more community trash pick up days, there used to be more, but the council's funds have been cut considerably in the last decade and no other organisation seems willing to go to the cost of organising it. (would need staff, medics just in case, and insurance). I do agree, there's a lot of good quiet spots by the water to meditate, picnic and enjoy the sounds and sights. 🙂
Hi! Saw you with Nothern Mudlarks and Nicola ...thats how I found you and now I am a new subscriber. All the way from Sweden... I like that you take led and plastic and other harmful things out of the waters...thank you.
I believe it is a gas burner? Thanks for taking us with you.
Absolutely correct. A swing-arm wall bracket for a gas lamp.
Enjoyed your very relaxed form to your video and interesting to boot
Thanks!
Oh Tom how I envy you, that route you took to that tiny beach at 22.53, you must have the sure feet of a mountain goat, I need a level path without trip hazards, so nice to go along on your walks with you. Gives one a feeling a feeling of space and freedom, very grateful.
I'm sure there'll come a time when I too will envy those who still have agility. I'm trying to make the best of it while I still have it, and I'm glad it's helping people who can't move as freely. I think my mum would have liked watching my videos too. 🙂
Your Videos make me feel like i am there with you ,great work ,thankyou .
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy them like that.
The most relaxing voice on UA-cam! Interesting video. Subscribed.
Thanks Cherelle. :)
Love Tom but his voice reminds me of...Silence of the Lambs!
Thank you for all that you do and share with us.
Thanks woofusdad, glad you like it.
Tom I look forward watching. I've watched you from the beginning of your vide.
Thanks Vivian, I've been ill over Christmas and New Years, but there's another video coming; should be up on the 12th. 🙂
Hanging gas lamp :)
Correct. 🙂
Hi Tom, I really appreciate you sharing your lovely walk with us, been waiting for impatiently for this video. Can hardly wait for the next!
Thanks Robin, I'm very glad to know there are people who actively look forward to my videos coming out. Hopefully it'll encourage me to put them out quicker.
Awesome video Tom, very relaxing to watch after a crappy day at work.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it 🙂
Bravo Tom! A great day along the river Calder. Too bad about diggers not replacing soil makes for horrible eroding and unsafe for walkers above them. Gator came all the way from the Florida hurricanes? 🤣🤣 Victorian lamp innards from a hanging lamp over supper table maybe? Snails have 1st dibs on cup! 😂😂😂 Love the Star Wars sack. Thanks for the book and Gravedigger short tale. I must say that I am very happy to receive them. The poems are right up my alley. My mom says I am insane, but at 80, she only reads Quilting books. Well congrats on the fun and productive mudlark. Blessings Jeri-Ann
Thanks so much Jeri-ann, I'm so glad the book arrived safely... and I'm especially glad that it's to your taste. It would be wonderful if the gator survived being taken 3,000 miles by hurricane, possibly if it went via OZ. A hanging Victorian table lamp array is a pretty good guess; one that hadn't crossed my mind. Blessings, Tom.
She's your Mom. What should say, as I'm 76, and it's my DAUGHTER, who says I'm insane????? You are the lucky one!!!!!!
New here. Alex and Gail sent me and I’m grateful. Your videos are soothing and informative. I’m still in shelter in from Texas and it’s lovely taking walks with you. Thank you. Looking forward to watching them all. 🦋
I miss the many tubs I’ve soaked in. I really don’t like only having a shower although it’s better than having neither.
Me too. A good bath is a huge luxury 🙂
Cool Tom I'm into mudflood at the moment
Thanks, glad you're enjoying my videos 🙂
Just wonderful. Thankyou.
Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Thank you That was fantastic ! I felt like I was there too !
Thanks Jane, I'm glad you had such a good experience.
The tea pot spouts remind me of an elephants trunk. Or is that just me. I love the Cream and mustard large pot with the Crock in it. I love those kind of pots to hold color pencils and paint brushes and ink pens. I do enjoy your walks and talks. Thank you for such a wonderful way to unwind from a mental day. And if I may say so, you are richer than you know.
Not just you Mary, I think in one early video I suggested the possibility that I might make an elephant sculpture one day using a teapot spout. Might still happen if I get better at time management. I'm glad you get a lot out of my videos. Thanks for a lovely comment. Tom.
I must say Tom you seem to get your bottles etc extremely clean!!
I do struggle with getting them really clean, some work to go on the ones I want to display... I think the camera is good at not picking up the dirt that remains, especially when the daylight is helping. 🙂
I would take the earthenware pot home myself love the story of the mole your poor mum must have had quite a shock
Alas, I just don't have the space to store everything I find, or arms strong enough to carry them. I think my poor mum had quite a few shocks from me and my brothers when we were young 😄
I hope that you are wearing safety glasses, Tom You never know what can flick up at you. Thanks for another nice time making finds.
Not exactly, I do often wear some amber-tint sunglasses though which both protect my eyes somewhat, and add contrast to what I'm looking at allowing easier spotting. Glad you enjoyed the video.
@@tomburleigh9261 Good to hear that your eyes are protected. You know, I am astonished at the garbage in the waterways where you go. I understand the dumps, though. My husband is Sth Yorkshire and my parents English but I am in Australia, not England, btw. We live in rural coastal Sth Aust and I collect small items, glass and coloured china pottery from the grain fields around our house.
@@artistocracy The garbage is depressing, sad to say that it's corollarily proportional to population density. Where I live is probably higher density than almost everywhere in Australia... and it's also the start point of the industrial revolution, so it's had a long time of consumptive behaviour and trash production. At least though, I don't have to contend with the levels of garbage that, say... the Ganges in India has plaguing it.
Lepidodendron!
Yep, just about the only fossil I find in the local rivers. 🙂
@@tomburleigh9261 I live in southeastern Tennessee (Soddy-Daisy, TN) in an old coal mining town, and our only fossils are from the carboniferous period. Finding a detailed lepidodendron fossil is a real treat for us.
You need to be on main stream TV 📺. Great viewing, keep up the good work 👍
Thanks Misty By nature, if a producer gets in touch, I'll consider whatever they offer.
Several You Tube folks have been taken over to TV shows. Dr. Pimple Popper, Toe Bro. Curiousity Inc was asked but declined due to the amount of work taking time from his channel and the hunt for finding antiques and vintage items if I recall correctly. And his family and children. You apparently need to do exactly what they say and take the directions precisely.
Why did cod bottles have a marble in them? What is cod? A fish?
It's fascinating to watch, I live in a coastal beach area and we don't have a lock of rocks around, actually, we really don't have a lot of soil, mainly fine sugar sand so the rocks are beautiful to me. I love the age of the area as well, those arches are beautiful.
Thanks for sharing...what was that thing we guessed about? : )
a codd bottle is a bottle shaped to house a marble instead of a lid. The marble would be held in place by the pressure from the carbonated water against the rubber seal I believe. To open it you would push the marble down. They are still quite popular in Japan.
Sylwia J. is right. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codd-neck_bottle Thanks for asking Lottie, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🙂
I would use the big crock to put some kitchen utensils in. I looked for a very long time before I found two containers that were large enough to put things like a potato masher, whisks, ladles, wooden spoons, etc. in. Very handy in the kitchen instead of trying to stuff everything into drawers.
I think that metal item was once a gas light during the Victorian era.
Yes, we have a big old pot like that in the kitchen, used exactly in that way. 🙂 And correct, it was a swing arm for a wall mounted gas lamp. 🙂
@@tomburleigh9261 I hope that doesn't date me because I was born in the late 50's, not the 20's. (O: I can never find nice big pots like that, I always end up with clear glass and they never look at nice. Stay well Tom
Very interesting walk Tom. I wish there was somewhere like that near me, I’d be in my element!
Once or twice a year I go down to a little known beach in Kent, where the sand is strewn with broken pots and bottles. Occasionally, I get lucky and find a whole one, or bits of clay pipe. To me, it’s just a relaxing couple of hours, with the opportunity to find some interesting bits and pieces.
Sounds like a great beach, and a lovely relaxing time... I'm glad you get to go somewhere like that at least a couple of times a year, sorry you haven't found anywhere decent nearer to where you live though.
Lovely trip out mud larking. Lovely big pot you found. Don't know what the long thing is never seen anything like that before.
Thanks Alison, if you mean the metal thing I pulled out of the bank at the bottledump, it was a swing arm wall sconce for a gas lamp.
Hiya Tom lovely vid and finds to match it, thanks for taking us along 👍🇮🇪
Thanks Sid, glad you enjoyed it.
Love your videos, you seem to find some really unusual but cool things.
Thanks Deb, I am lucky in that regard. 🙂
Another brilliant video! It is such fun to see what you find. I think that pipe with gas tap is possibly an old gas lamp. Can't wait for your next video :)
Thanks Caroline and Phil, I think it's part of an old gas lamp too. You're rapidly becoming one of my favourite channels; you make even detecting drinks cans fun to watch. :)
@@tomburleigh9261 Thanks Tom!
I think the long metal piece you asked for comments on, is possibly a wall gas light fitting.
your a gentleman , enjoyed the trip out with you .very interesting & relaxing
Thank you Steve, I hope you continue getting enjoyment out of my videos.
Love the things you find .you should sell the pottery jars I love them put them on eBay they will sell.
Thanks Eugene, I might sell some eventually, when I get better organised; just got too many projects on the go so far.
Liked the fossil
Nice river walk!
Thanks Deej, I hope the weather there eases up enough for you to get out and about again soon.
Ey up its Luddenden foot, where I wad born and brought up, station Road going onto Blackwood Hall Lane, overt Calder River, lol
Well done Tom you managed not to get swept away some parts are quite dangerous, happy larking, Lorraine Heron, no we rarely get our feet stuck 😊😊
I do like that spot, it's usually got some things to find. I agree though, dangerous in parts... I'm careful though, and have a lot of experience with that river and her moods. 🙂 Glad you don't get your feet stuck often.
the long pipe with a loop is ceiling gas light and the other one also gas light but for wall all these used to be supplied with 3\8 or 1\4 lead pipe from bulgaria keep the videos coming brilliant
