I was never too keen on Staff but I knew to blame Netflix for SDS's downfall, I adored this Show (S1-S2 and the first movie) so seeing how things went really hit me hard ended up just sticking to the Manga but man do I miss A1 and SDS🙏

Finaly someone besides me wo tells people about what actualy happened with season 3/4, realy great video man. Also a little advice, watch the CG movies, they´re nice story wise and preaty well animated actualy. The modles arent the best, but it uses its medium to the fullest with realy dynamic szenes and preaty good storyborded and coreographed fights.
I always wondered why season 3-4 background/environment and lighting looked really good, it makes sense now that the people they contracted were known for doing backgrounds and other support stuff and not experts in character and fight sequence animation. But overall, if studio deen was given proper time, we would've definitely had a better product ,not on par with season 1-2 but decent enough to be acceptable by the fans.
Pretty good video. though one thing you could've fixed is using AniDB as a source for info when ANN failed you. They list the main staff of the show including Director, character designer, series comp, DoP, etc. I always wondered why there aren't any channels doing a runthrough on the production of TSDS despite how infamous it is, so I'm glad to find this vid.
Seasons 1 to 3 are just good, animations are also very good. Then came the studio change to Deen, the story of 7DS is still good, only the animation makes it hard to watch. If A-1 Picture had made the entire anime, it would simply be a perfect anime
Season 3 was awfully looking but adapted one of the best parts of the manga, season 4 was slightly better looking, but after the first 6/7 episodes the plot went downhill, especially the last arc about chaos is ass. The sequel movie, which was basically the fight against the goddes was kinda bad, the Grudge of Edimburgh is actually pretty decent, cgi is meh but the second episode of the two was lowkey hype. Four Knights of the Apocalypse is decently made, apart from some cgi scenes in the first half, but plot wise is far better than the final part of the main series, and season 2 is gonna be fire, season 1 ended with a huge cliffhanger, read the manga and it's pretty cool for a sequel with the various sons of the main characters
My boi Escanor deserved better animation since his fights are the best. I like 7ds but I got into it for Escanor. Also found it funny that slowly Hawk became a power scouter.
I need someone to explain to me why I have a couple of friends that are dying on the hill of telling me that the animation is good 😐 I can’t wrap my head around it
