Hi Kylie! Watch my latest Q&A video here for your answer: ua-cam.com/video/QB55qvDrEWc/v-deo.html :)
@@NaomiNg yay thank you so much Ms. Naomi!
Hi Naomi. I'm Tum. I'm from Thailand. Thank you for your video very much. Such motivation. Right now, I am already finised submitted the application before its deadline. and I hope, I will have an opportunity for an interview round. but if the committee thinks that I do not deserve I can acknowledge that. But it better to prepare for the interview before time. Cuz the result will be coming on around 1st week of February. and the choosers will interview on 14th Feb (It's love day ^^ ). That's why I want to know how to prepare it. at least I have more opportunity to shape my English skills. Next, I would like to hear an Experience about your Culture that you represent or Exchange there? Did they let you make a speech? Last QUESTION. I heard that this scholarship need a person to do community service. Due to your field of study, it's hard how did you manage your time and do community Sevice? Thank you for your time :) ขอบคุณครับ
Hi Tum I made a video about what happens after submitting the application (which includes the interview) here : ua-cam.com/video/RpHRv5eqS6Y/v-deo.html .
I don't quite understand what you mean by my experience about the culture I represent. I did give a short presentation about my country, yes :)
Yes, this scholarship has requirement of 20 community service hours. It's really not that hard to have time for community service. Do watch my other videos, as I talk everything about Global UGRAD :)
What’s the accommodation process like? Do I have to share a room with anyone?
Hi LoverOF2010! World Learning will arrange your accommodation for you, the residence should contact you before the term begins. And yes, most likely you will have to share a room as it's part of the cultural exchange purpose.
Thank you so much! One more question, does the medical test come first or US visa? And is the date of medical test flexible or will they fix it for us?
@@Lover0F2010 The medical test was done after my U.S. visa. It is not flexible as there is a period set by the university, so do keep that in mind.
How much money ugrad program give to his students per month
Hi Jocelyne, I'm not sure of the current amount. However, it will be sufficient as extra money since everything else will be paid for :)
Hi Ms Naomi! I was accepted for ugrad 2021-2022. Do you mind if I ask how much money did you specifically bring when you departed? Just so i have an idea how much should i save
Hi, I didn't have specific allocation for the program, but I ended up spending approximately USD2.3k. Do keep in mind I allowed myself to spend on trips, shopping, comfort...etc. The stipend given should already be enough if you're not planning to spend much.
@@NaomiNg does that include everything that you spent other than the stipend?
@@sterofexnop4314 Yup!
Hello! What was your gpa or cgpa? does they check cgpa or gpa?
@@Burh.2k Hi, yes they do check the GPA - you're required to submit your transcripts.
Hi Naomi, I've got few questions for you.
I already had my interview at the U.S Embassy in my country, when will I hear about them again?
If I got selected, after the interview, when I will take the TOEFL?
Thanks for helping us!
Hi Jhorman, based on my experience, you should hear from them in about 2 weeks. Otherwise, you can reach out to them and ask of the progress of it. You can take the TOEFL any time after your selection, but make sure not too late as the host institution may have deadlines for document submissions.
@@NaomiNg Thank you so much!
HI, I RECEIVED THE congratulation EMAIL AND IT HAD THIS SENTENCE IN IT "your application is subject to your TOEFL score" WHAT DOES IT MEAN EXACTLY? THANKS IN ADVANCE
Hi Massin, it means that your application depends on your TOEFL score. Have you taken the test?
HELLO Naomi Ng. I know that it depends on the score but how? will I be dropped from the program or what exactly? NO, I didn't take the test. it's scheduled for 04/13
@@massinabarchan452 I'm not sure, it would only make sense that you have to meet the minimum score in order to be selected. If you're lucky, they may require you to take an English class in the U.S. 🤷🏻♀️ Also, your choice in letter cases are quite unsettling.
@@NaomiNg Thank you for the replies. I am overthinking it for sure, I still can't believe that I was accepted. The letter case problem is just a habit,
I like to text that way, yes I comment that way too HHHHH. If there is anything you think I should know, I would appreciate you telling me. Thanks again.
@@massinabarchan452 You're welcome and congraturlations! Glad I could help. Do subscribe and stay tuned for more Global UGRAD videos coming up soon! :)
