If you allowed Hornish Jr. to your outside, you basically handed him the win. Over the years, Sam was known for side-drafting you on the outside to edge you at the line. Look at his wins in the video at California, Chicagoland and Texas. Almost got alongside Felipe, but a lapped car caused Felipe to take the clean air off of Sam's nose.

I will eventually get to those, though that might have to wait until the offseason, as I want to get back to NASCAR vids
2002 was the year that the IRL truly was without argument better than CART. You could make arguments about 2001 and kinda 1999.
