I’ve been a big ProClip fan for years. This is a excellent car holder mount.
I made my own DIY holder when MagSafe first released. Works perfectly since then.

Very pricey products but you won’t be disappointed. Products are solid.

Nah. The apple MagSafe works great still. It works well with the wireless CarPlay dongle. Worth the money.

You forget that if you go MagSafe you need wireless CarPlay. Major issue if you only have a plug.
Can’t you just unplug MagSafe charger and connect to wired CarPlay ?
