- Bruno Serato nearly went broke serving food from his restaurant to kids at the local Boys and Girls Club. After the restaurant burned down, he was inundated with offers of aid, reports Steve Hartman.

Yes. Most very definitely! Bruno is a good man who cares about children who come from nothing and gives them a nourishing meal and joy for a short time.

This is still one of my favorite stories. He doesnt just feed those children hes loves them and talks to them. You can see hes got a special bond with them. Best pick me up for monday mornings.

what an amazing man.lets face it all restaurants could do something food wise for people instead of throwing it away
You know I always wondered why they didn't do that. We grew up in a low-income family and I often went to bed feeling hungry.
Mom did the best she could but there was only so much to go around. Fortunately I was able to get into college and I was able to start eating three meals a day.
I had no idea but I was not growing like I should. I grew 4 in in college.
I remember though at my Christian University Biola we would take the food and serve it down at skid row.
My mom and my church tonight we actually serve the homeless shelter every Friday..My mom was assistant director.
I remember seeing my classmates family there. Both parents worked but they didn't make enough to feed their kids.
I told him that tonight's dinner was good because I had just eaten it and I brought him plate.
It was interesting cuz he used to believe me all the time but after that he never did.
In fact we make him good friends and eventually he started coming to church with me.
I am so thankful for the church that God brought into our lives it literally kept us out of trouble and made a difference in every one of us.
I know right from Taiwan serving the people of Taiwan.

Oohhh that thought crossed my mind too.... but then again he was doing years of good while the banks are doing years of evil... he deserves to be inundated with support and love. The fact that this man went bankrupt was the finance world's fault. Not his.
