- Welcome to my Parsons 301 Residence Hall room tour!
I'm currently attending Parsons School of Design majoring in Communication Design (class of 2025). I filmed this last year during the winter break but I finally got myself to edit it now HAHAHA. I'll definitely try to show you the rest of the building in my next video, but I hope you enjoy this room tour vid for now :)

Omg she said her kitchen was dirty 😭 do I have low standards or am I the only one who thought it was surprisingly clean😅(also I loved ur outfit and aesthetic girll, this is def one of my favorite dorm tours ✨inspirational✨)
HAHAHA I just wished I had cleaned up a bit more the video. Our suite definitely doesn't look as clean as the vid now lol 😭 but thank you for your sweet comment, I'm so glad you enjoyed the room tour :)

What degree are you perusing in the new school? Also, can you please do a tour of the entire dorm? I really want to see the suite with 6 rooms and 2 baths. I am about to shift to the new school next fall. And last question, how many years is the degree for?

I’d you don’t mind me asking, did you get to request that room with the view? Or is it first come first serve or random selection?☺️
During the room selection period, you're given a number of rooms to choose from, so it's not random. However, it also is first come first serve because some people's room selection date is just earlier than yours. We didn't really expect to get this view but generally if you choose a room that faces North or West, you will get a similar view to mine but not much direct sunlight and if it faces South or East, you'll get a view of Stuy town (which isn't as pretty IMO) but get a LOT of sunlight!

hii, Would it be a bother if I ask you the approximate cost per semester?
Trying to decide if I should go to parsons. Even with my scholarship it is pretty expensive. Would you say it’s worth it?
I’m in the same boat! I’m deciding between Parsons and Drexel and I’m so so torn. I got scholarships from both but even w the scholarship Parsons is so expensive because it’s nyc… but the view from this dorm tho omg 😩 I’m too indecisive for a decision like this lol
To be entirely honest, I think it would really depend on how much you're able to get out of it. The school definitely has the 'top art school' reputation and you will be able to meet some really amazing professors who you can learn a lot from, but some classes will literally make you reconsider your decisions. If you think it would put too much burden on yourself and your family, then my answer would be no, it's may not be worth it, just because you wouldn't be able to enjoy your studies get the most out of it. But if your family is able to support you and you are really passionate about whatever you want to do, then a whole new world of opportunities is awaiting you! :)

It's not too hard to get in! You just need a portfolio, a transcript, and fill out Common App :)

how did you get a 6 person dorm?
When it's your room selection time, you are able to choose which suite & room you want to move in to! I just happened to be in a 6 ppl suite because our room was the best room out of the options we had. My roommate and I chose this room together, but our suitemates were all randomly assigned :)

아무래도 외국 친구들이랑 살다보면 신발을 신고 들어올때가 많은데 저희는 현관에 신발장을 뒀기때문에 보통 실내에서는 슬리퍼 신고다녀요!
