I've been using the Tetrachords for a few months. It's a brilliant module that has transformed my music creation through harmony.

This seems cool. I wonder if there is a non-euro equivalent. I already had NDLR and have Kordbot, although neither of which really gelled with my way of working.

The closest equivalent I can think of is the Spektro Audio NGEN. I received mine a few days ago and it truly is a very well thought MIDI sequencing powerhouse. It is also equipped with 2 CV / 2 Gates out. As a midi sequencer, it offers 16 tracks, 13 different algorithmic generators and a whole lot of parameters to tweak them. On the hardware side, the build quality is superlative.
I decided to take a break from grid based sequencers. I started to find them way too distracting.
Regarding the NDLR, I had very good times with it a few years ago.

The Tetrachords is fully MIDI-capable for both input and output. You could drive it with a MIDI sequencer (MIDI notes can function as triggers) and then take the MIDI out and drive any MIDI polysynth or groovebox. All you would need is a pod to mount and power it.
