Czech is even better in this, Slovak for me is not that clear, they have some letters with double point (like in German) and other unclear or schwa-like sounds. In Czech, such letters don't exist and all vowels are simple latin vowels.
Middle Polish, please. Pięknie brzmią jezyki Slowacki i Ukrainski. Ciekawe jak brzmiałyby z nosówkami. I jak brzmialoby ich polaczenie: Akcent inicjalny, ale z opadającym wydluzeniem ostatnich, nieakcentowanych sylab frazy.
>Ciekawe jak brzmiałyby z nosówkami Nasal vowels weren't a feature of East Slavic dialects even before Kyiv was sacked by the mongols, they were kept in Old Church Slavonic but it was the literary (official/chancellery) language at the time, and not even East Slavic in origin.
Slovak numbers sounds more similar to Russian than Ukrainian lol. Look how Slovakian woman pronounce "tri" "pat' ", "sest' ", devat' ", "desat' " , it's almost the same as Russian pronounciation.
In Polish: Ojcze Nasz któryś jesteś w Niebie Święć się imię twoje Przyjdź Królestwo twoje Bądź wola twoja Jako w niebie taki na ziemi Chleba naszego powszedniego daj nam dzisiaj I odpuść nam nasze winy Jako i my odpuszczamy nasze winowajco I nie wódź nas na pokuszenie Ale nas zbaw ode złego Amen
It very depends on speaker and his dialect/accent. For me as Czech, Slovak accent is clearly more eastern and very different from Czech, but even different than in eastern slavic languages with their strong accents.
Great video duo thanks.
Oh that’s cool! I have a friend from Slovakia and a friend from Ukraine! They don’t know each other though.
Ukrainian sounds very clear to me 😮. Like Italian, you can hear every word. 😯

More like Czech. Which was basically why Czechoslovakia became a thing.

No wonder, Ukrainians are Rusyns. It's the modern and archaic name of the same people.
