With all due respect, just some honest reactions and not a criticism. The bishop was attacked because of repeatedly mocking, insulting, criticizing the attacker's prophet (according to his attacker). Marmari said he know Jesus personally, even describing him as 6'1", green eyes, etc. He said Jesus took him to heaven and saw no one there. Was that a statement of facts or make-believe lies? He said, No Muhammad, Allah, Krishna, Buddha and all the Deities worshipped and loved by billions of their respective devotees worldwide is present in heaven. Marmari boldly and categorically said they are all MANMADE. Isn't Marmari deliberately or unconsciously polarizing religions, provoking, pitting them against each other? He said he respects and supports freedom of religion, but why criticize others and say they are all MANMADE? Isn't that hypocrisy? Of course, these (Marmari's) are just words, but while most people may just ignore it and walk away, others may take it persinally and may react. Just like Jesus retaliated furiously and violently when his Father's house was disrespected. This is the Law of Love. Or, in the world, it's human nature, defending your loved one from any attack. Jesus and God NEVER meddle with man's free will - words and actions. But Marmari is "forcing" everyone to believe Jesus is the only truth and no one else. True, Marmari is totally free in what he says, but he can't dictate/control how others react to that. Facts of life we can't just ignore. "Social harmony" is a delusion. It nwver happened and this will not happen. In terms of religion, it can be mitigated by focusing only on one's faith/belief and refraining from criticizing others. Will Marmari singlehandedly save the world? If that is his intention? Even Jesus failed in that. Religious fanaticism is dangerous.
In the western world we do not try to murder people because they say things we don't like. If you are not willing to abide by that ( as is the case with many muslims) then leave the west.
