    Thank you so much for sharing. I just started using “the Ordinary” products. I have the toner, he hyaluronic acid, and the natural moisturizing. I wanted to see how those worked on my dry to normal skin before adding an anti aging product on, and so far so good after 5 days. I think I will do what you suggested and start with the Retinoid for a good while then go to the Retinol. I also started using sunscreen and I no you didn’t want to no if anyone didn’t use it, but if I am being real I didn’t no it was so important because I’m a black woman and no one ever told me, I just recently learned it’s just as important for black people, it’s a stereotype, but thank goodness for people like you sharing here on UA-cam.

    I am 54, never used an SPF on my skin but I always had on foundation with SPF. I also was not in the sun very much. The difference between my skin and the skin of my friends who were always in the sun is dramatic. If you are young, stay out of the sun or put on SPF several times a day. Your older face will thank you.

      I am 31 and I hate to stay in the sun since we live in a torrid zone. And I am using SPF foundation every morning. I look like 25. But my friends who are 25 is look like my age.

      Im 45 and have skin as young as a 25 year old(as I’m told) Thanks to my mom who would always have us kids wear big hats in the summer. This one summer I had an outbreak on my face and didn’t go outside much and when I did wore big hats. On vacations we would be the ones wearing the big hats- Thanks Mom for being one step ahead as we grew up ❤️

      I agree! Also, I wish I could private message this next comment, because I don’t want to embarrass or offend you. The eyeshadow you have on is a bit much. No offence, just stating my view. It makes you look like you are trying too hard to look young. As my 101 yr old grandmother would say, less is more!

    • @sunnyroenorth5544

      @@lnayler I find your message very unnecessary, there’s no need to put people down purely because of something that the person wear is not something you like. She is wearing a neutral colour eyeshadow, therefore “less is more” is not something that makes sense. Don’t even understand why would you even want to message someone privately to tell them that you don’t like their eyeshadow look..

    I've been using The Ordinary products ...my skin is looking better. I love the Vit C 30% suspension because the tingles makes me feel it's doing something. I have no irritation or stinging from any of the Ordinary products. Their niacinamide powder is awesome when mixed into my Moisturizing Factors. I used Alpha Arbutin for dark spots for 3-4 months with Zero visible results so I switched to a different company for that. After one month I have seen an improvement with that competing product. Everything else I use for my 59 yr old saggy and wrinkled face are from the Ordinary and they have made a noticeable difference. I highly recommend them.

    I had no idea the Granactive Retinoids were the weaker formula. I bought the granactive retinoid 2% in emulsion, looking to 'graduate' to the 5% version in 6 to 12 months. Knowing that now, once I'm done with the 5% granactive, I'll probably get the retinol 0.2%, for another 6 months to a year, then the 0.5% and the 1%. Nice little 3 - or so - year skin care plan.

    I’m 55 and I’ve started using “Buffet” , “Matrixyl”, Niacinamide and Vitamin C serum...I mix it up like you do and don’t use all the products at same time, some morning, some in evening..Also use a Multi Acid peeling solution twice a week...What a difference in my skin,especially the skin tone, I used to have quite a red t zone, not anymore...ps , I’ve always used a spf50 for a few years..it’s last thing I put on before my make up in morning..👍

      Hyaluronic acid promotes health, helps in fighting wrinkles, helps prevent skin irritations, helps keep the skin hydrated which sounds counterintuitive since the word acid is in the name but it does help keep the skin hydrated I use it before I use a micellar water. And vitamin E oil which helps discoloration, even skin tone and texture, it helps neutralize free radicals, it helps to reduce sun damage, it works well with spf, it also helps hydrate skin, may help scaring too.

      Thank you!!
      Moisturizer should always be applied before a sunscreen but if you don't want to use a moisturizer then of course you could skip that step and go right in with your SPF...

    That you for all your tips. I’ve started using 0.2% retinol for about 3 weeks now. I don’t see much results only breakouts/purge around my chin. It’s so disappointing. I’m trying to stick with it and hoping for positive results.

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  4 роки тому +1

      Retinol takes a while for anyone to see results and patience is definitely something everyone needs to have with this product... Purging is normal especially if your pores are clogged, these products help to clear pores which can cause pimples... Give it time!

    Thanks for the video. Do you think we should take a 2 month break from the BHA and AHA peeling solution? Also, can we use it with adapalene treatment? I use AHA BHA mask twice a week and wonder if i should stop using it while going on adapalene

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  4 роки тому +1

      I mean you can if you think your skin needs a break but you don't have to. I use the AHA + BHA one night a week and on the other nights I am using my Retin-A so you can definitely still use your peeling solution when you start Adapalene but of course, don't use it on the same night as the AHA + BHA..

    Hi. Love this video! What would the routine be at night? I use hyaluronic acid, then tretinoin, then I mix rose hip seed oil with my moisturizer. Anything else or instead of that I should be doing?

  • @wennie09
    @wennie09 4 роки тому

    Matrixyl 10% is already in buffet its same identical amount in buffet along side other peptides in case any one did not realise this!! And is OK to use with Tretenol ( pure vitamin A )

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  4 роки тому

      Yes these serums are very similar but the Buffet has more ingredients to it which is why it's called a Buffet... Sure, a lot of people like to use peptides with their Tretinoin and that's fine, but for me personally I don't mix these two together.

      I believe it's better to use these products consistently all the time as you will see better results..

      -Night 2: Peptides
      Alternate your two night routines so that you can get the benefits of both products..
