Ciclo de cuatro canciones y un interludio para voz y piano en el que se utilizan fragmentos de los sonetos When I have fears that I may cease to be, The human seasons, After dark vapours have opressed our plains y Oh, Solitude! If I must with thee dwell, del poeta John Keats (1795-1821), perteneciente al romanticismo literario. Los sonetos fueron seleccionados debido a sus alusiones a la naturaleza tanto humana como vegetal, contenidos que le dan el título al ciclo. En esta obra se abordan los conceptos de eclecticismo y simetría musical, pues cada una de las canciones tiene una correspondencia con otra dentro del ciclo, de acuerdo a las técnicas, lenguajes y formas utilizadas dentro de cada una de ellas.

Cycle of four songs and an interlude for voice and piano in which are used fragments of the sonnets When I have fears that I may cease to be, The human seasons, After dark vapours have opressed our plains and Oh, Solitude! If I must with thee dwell, by the poet John Keats (1795-1821), belonging to literary romanticism. The sonnets were selected because of their allusions to nature, both human and vegetable, contents that give the title to the cycle. In this work the concepts of eclecticism and musical symmetry are addressed, since each of the songs has a correspondence with another within the cycle, according to the techniques, languages and forms used in each of them.
