You guys disappointed this year…
Had to watch the pageant from someone else’s live stream cuz we had to pay otherwise…
So glad I didn’t lol what happened to the prestige that the pageant had just last year…
The stage isn’t giving Miss Universe enough…
Also the production last year was way better than this year (quality of camera in general and audio with the hosts, angle shots and why did they pair Mario and Olivia again after the disaster of 2020, they just don’t have chemistry, Jeannie Mai or Maria Menounos would have worked better with Mario!!)
By the way I get cutting the time of the contestants highlights since it’s a top 30 and it would be too long but why not just put the highlights in the top 12 announcements and make the hosts interview the delegates during the top 30 announcements…
Gotta add as well that Australia, Colombia, Great Britain, Honduras, New Zealand and Somalia should’ve of been in the top 30 at the very least!!!
Nevertheless congrats to Miss Denmark!!!

Hallulla con Jamonada Lisa.
Ingredientes:
1 Hallula
4 Láminas de Jamonada Lisa
150 grs de Mantequilla
Preparación:
1. Abra el pan con la mano, con sus dos dedos guatones.
2. Sobre una mitad agregue las cuatro láminas de Jamonada Lisa, (que sobresalgan del pan).
3. Sobre la otra mitad, agregue 150 grs de mantequilla con una cuchara o chuchillo.
4. Caliente en una paila, o sartén lado por lado a gusto.
5. Acompañe con un tecito.

Para el relleno de carne:
500 g de carne molida (res, cerdo o mezcla)
1 cebolla grande, picada finamente
2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
1 diente de ajo picado
1/2 taza de aceitunas verdes o negras, picadas (opcional)
2 huevos duros, picados (opcional)
1 cucharadita de comino
1 cucharadita de pimentón (pimentón)
Sal y pimienta al gusto
1/2 taza de pasas (opcional)
Para la capa de choclo (maíz):
4 tazas de granos de choclo fresco o congelado (si usas enlatado, enjuágalos bien)
2 cucharadas de mantequilla
1/2 taza de leche
1 huevo
Sal y pimienta al gusto
Para la cobertura:
1/4 taza de azúcar (opcional, para darle un toque dulce)
Hojas de albahaca o cilantro (opcional, para decorar)
Preparación
Preparar el relleno de carne:
En una sartén grande, calienta el aceite de oliva y sofríe la cebolla y el ajo a fuego medio hasta que estén dorados y transparentes.
Añade la carne molida y cocina hasta que se dore y se desmenuce bien. Agrega sal, pimienta, comino, pimentón y las aceitunas, las pasas y los huevos duros picados si los usas.
Cocina a fuego bajo por unos minutos para que los sabores se integren bien. Reserva.
Preparar la capa de choclo:
Si usas choclo fresco, licúa o procesa los granos en un procesador de alimentos hasta obtener un puré grueso. Si usas choclo congelado o enlatado, escurre bien el líquido y procesa los granos de manera similar.
En una sartén grande, derrite la mantequilla y agrega el puré de choclo, la leche y el huevo. Cocina a fuego medio, revolviendo constantemente hasta que la mezcla esté espesa y suave. Ajusta la sal y pimienta al gusto. Retira del fuego.
Montar el pastel de choclo:
Precalienta el horno a 180°C (350°F).
En una fuente para hornear, coloca una capa de la mezcla de carne en el fondo. Extiende bien para cubrir todo el fondo.
Luego, cubre con la mezcla de choclo, alisando la superficie con una espátula.
Si te gusta con un toque dulce, espolvorea azúcar por encima del pastel antes de hornear.
Hornear:
Lleva la fuente al horno y hornea durante unos 25-30 minutos, o hasta que la capa de choclo esté dorada y burbujeante por los bordes. Si quieres que la parte superior se dore más, puedes poner el horno en modo gratinador durante unos minutos al final.
Servir:
Deja reposar el pastel de choclo unos minutos antes de cortar. Sirve caliente, decorado con algunas hojas de albahaca o cilantro si lo deseas.
Consejos:
Si prefieres un toque más cremoso, puedes agregar un poco de crema de leche al puré de choclo.
Puedes acompañar el pastel de choclo con una ensalada fresca para balancear los sabores.

Each and everyone of them are deserving. It is the selection process of limiting to just 1 Asian and just 1 black candidate in top 12 must get in that makes the winner not deserving. It's like winning a Master Chef title because the competitor ran out of fuel for fire to cook with.
