In case you’re not aware, Thredup is a great online consignment shop… you can search by brand, condition, price etc. I use it to buy quality brands and fabrics in like-new condition for a fraction of the retail price.
Lily silk is made for super petite women. I’m 5’4 119 and their clothes were just too small for me. I promise you’re not missing out.

I had the same experience. I had to return my items. Thred-up can be really great. I have a "clean-out" kit coming. I have things in my closet that are barely used. They can go to a good home, and I can earn a bit of credit🎉

What an interesting waist on that skirt, very attractive design. It's funny, but just last week I was looking at some of the late Trina Schart Hyman's illustrations - mainly of fairy tales - and I realized that her images of women, with the long flowing hair, the gossamer, layered clothing, is of GREAT appeal to me. I don't want to go around in costume, or looking odd. And I'm not interested in going to renaissance fairs to get it out of my system. So, I guess I'm going to have to ponder this, and see if I can reasonably bring some of that into my real-life wardrobe.
I think this might be one of my favorite spring 10 item wardrobe collections you have compiled. Lovely choices and they are all so well curated. The skirt from lily silk is stunning.

Jennifer, love this! , because i work, i have basically 3 capsules. Scrubs, office wear and all other time. I used to bleed from office (formal and exclusively pants) into my other time, but now these are totally distinct. I did this for my sanity. Some comment on cost. I often find great second hand finds, such as never worn Tory burch loafers or n. Peale cashmere. It helps to be patient and know what you want. My capsule is vivacious, joyful and easy. Like you, my spring always has nautical.

In Australia, we are heading into autumn so I am preparing my cooler weather wardrobe and it will be all dresses with just one pair of jeans for extra cold weekends. My adjectives are feminine, colourful and felicitous ( meaning well chosen or suited to the circumstances).

I gained inspiration from this video for packing for my Yorkshire England trip this May. Since we will also be in London for a week, I want to pack a few elevated pieces that will coordinate with my countryside clothes. I’m sure that it will still be chilly in the north in May so lightweight wool and cashmere will be perfect. I like the mix of basic neutrals that you have in your 10 item wardrobe. I’ll probably add in a floral dress because the English ladies do love their florals ! I’m looking forward to hiking the Yorkshire Dales and to visiting some literary and bookish places along with some tea rooms. Thank you for taking us into your closet. I always find something that will inspire me inside your closet !

I love these videos! I live in central California and I can’t even imagine having all of those sweaters. I wish! I love sweaters but I feel like I can barely even wear them in our winters. 😂 thank you for sharing this process with us of your wardrobe. I especially love the lily silk skirt but it wouldn’t be practical as a core item for me because of it being wool and more difficult to clean and I wouldn’t splurge on it as an extra but it is beautiful. I would love it in an easy and cool cotton. I like the wrap style and built in belt look.

I have that same sweater shaver, but I've seen some that are chargeable, and I want to buy one of those, because I find that my batteries don't last very long in this one, and cost money to replace. Recharging would be nice!

I love the camel skirt & top from Lily Silk on you! SO classy! Interested in your word choices compared to last year! I believe two were the same but you added “free spirited” (I think) this year! I didn’t think much of my word choices as I was in the middle of physician-monitored weight loss. It appears, related to my capsule wardrobe, that I can’t seem to adjust my real size to my old mindset when heavier. Did you have that issue at all when you first lost weight via IF? An example, another UA-camr I follow linked me to a JCrew white Pima cotton t-shirt; it was less than $25. Bargain right? Basic for capsule wardrobe, correct? ✅ I ordered a L=too big. So soft so kept. Went back to order a M, and it was double the price! Didn’t order… so now I’m concerned about ordering anything online even using the sizing chart! Sorry such a long comment. I’ve followed you a long time, deeply listen, but blips seem to prevent completion of my aspirations. 😂 You must think me a nut 🥜 Sent with admiration 👸🏻
Can anyone recommend a sweater shaver that does not run on batteries - I am really tired of buying batteries, would like to just plug it in and never have to worry about batteries again.
