A look at the little 6 oz Voigtlander all metal construction 35mm f/2 Ultron lens. - Навчання та стиль
Voigtländer makes great lenses that are also beautiful to behold.
Yes they do!
I just love these little lens reviews. So glad that manufacturers are still producing compact high quality manual lenses.
Voigtlander lenses create special images. Love them. Just ordered a voigtlander 40mm f1.4
How are you liking it?😊
Combined with the brand new Lumix and getting such classic look, wow! Very interesting lens indeed.
beautiful lens too : )
Thanks for sharing. You spoke about your favorite M lens line-up of Voigtlaender lenses and I was wondering how the 58mm 1.4 Nocton (Nikon mount) would stack up against those and whether it is still a favorite of yours ?
Fotodiox makes an adapter for Sony and Fujifilm (Pronto) which makes this lens an autofocus lens. I have the Fujifilm version, which I can say works very well.
on my M8 i have a basic Voigt 25mm f4. I guess worth the upgrade to this?
May I ask a question? When you shoot B&W, do you convert from DNG file or set in a camera?
How does the CV 35mm 1.4 MC Nokton Classic stack up against this lens?
Thanks for another great vid! Don't have a 35mm prime so will consider this or the 1.7. Although I mainly do landscapes. When looking at the 21mm 3.5 please compare it to the 1.8, which I own and love!
Review the Leica SL 16-35 zoom for us please.
The best tiny 35 for m Mount is the 2.8 Zeiss. The color Skopar 2.5 is also nice. The older 1.7 ultron is better than this f2 version IMO.
It would be cool to revisit the Leica 40mm f/2 lens that was for the CL but adapted to the S1. It kind of reminds me of this lens from the samples of the Ultron.
On my Xpro2 - perfect
Agree about the 35 Leica Cron. I like it for landscape but it's a bit boring. Just can't bring my self to sell it yet. I may get the 35 1.2 Nokton.
What happened to your site? It’s been 403 for a couple of days...
ZM 50/1.5 Sonnar or VM 50/1.5 for color photography?
Sonnar for character, lovely colour, 3-D pop and small size. VM for smoother bokeh. I have Sonnar.
I am litterally on my way to the camera show is the old f2 one better than the new 1.4?
If you review the new 21 mm f3.5 VM , could you please mount it in your a7-9? I would like to know if it can be used on my a7iii, previous version has tons of problem and was not recommended by all youtubers who use it on their sony camera . Many thanks
what problem was that ?
@@arsulaksono881 Color shift in corners, as it was made for film, new one is much better
@@artjomkutuzov1350 oh ok , I ended buying voigt 15/4,5 III e-mount which corrected the issue
If you close the aperture (Panasonic S1, novoflex + V.) is there less light on the EVF? Does te S1 records the aperture of the shot? thnx. grtz from Belgium.
75mm f1.5.... now thats new
Does it have barrel distortion ?
distortion is only an issue when you get close to your subject, it is not lense specific you just cant get that close with a tele lense. (distance to you subject) it's just your viewing angle. So yes if you fill the frame with a face on a 35mm you will have distortion.
It actually has less distortion compared to leica 35 asph. There’s a comparison forum with sample images.
@@bernhardneumuellerphotography They are referring to barrel distortion which is due to the optics of the lens and is separate from perspective distortion
I have a Voigtlander 35 f2.5 color scopar. Is it worth to upgrade?
No!
In my personal view, It’s worth to change from F2.5 to F2. The new one have bette performance in all of area. Appearance of new one is also better. I didn’t regret to replace 35 2.5 to 35 2.
Techart PRO Leica M - Sony E Autofocus Adapter has not been mentioned? Do I have a bad dream regarding seriousness?
M-lenses don’t work well on A7-series. Wide or normal gives weird colors and bad sharpness in the corners. With S1 or SL it’s no problem. Love to use them on S1R. I mainly use Nokton 50/1,2 and Ultron 35/1,7. I love those lenses.
PhotoViking they are not perfection, but I love them on my sony, who cares corners at least you do landscape?. The ultron and it sibling nokton 50 , the 40 1.2 VM are tack sharp and they have a color rendering other sony lenses do not have. I did put them side by side with the zeiss 55 and the zeiss ended on ebay to fund other voigtlanders. Next to come is the heliar 50 3.5 👍
wanted this but the fact that the focus tab only has meters killed it for me..
takes about a week to get used to. it's no deal breaker. besides, metric is the standard anyway
You'll like version II
You’re absolutely foolish if you paid $800 for a manual lens. I just bought a 35mm 1.7 for $35 😂
Sure, bro. You enjoy that $35 lens.
Why?
U will never make it far in any industry
You sure those ain't made of corn flakes?
You are a fool if you think that $35 lens is even near like this one
