Wow best video sharing friend greetings know me from sarawak 👍👍🙏
Tried the best pan mee with bah kut teh, Tom yam, herbal, chilli flavour at Kedai Kopi Hoh Piah@ Sungai Way PJ! Teh, coffee and cham ping are da bomb too!
pan mee with bak kut teh and tom yam and herbal? sounds like a lot of things going on
Singapore - KL ( 6 hour drive ) cross country
Kudat - sandakan ( 7 hour drive ) thats still in Sabah 😂🤣
That's with a massive jam at customs though
Kwong Wah ice Katanga for me, have to go red sugar not gula Melaka. The selling point there is actually the smooth ice, and it goes better with the red sugar
Aiyo Seth! With the 1:3.2 exchange rate, RM$25 (~SGD$7.75) for a bowl of prawn mee of that size in KL/PJ area with the amount of ingredients and seafoods should be considered reasonable lah. A bowl of smaller size prawn mee at Old Airport Road Hawker Center with 5 big prawns already costs SGD$10 (~RM$32.5 and not sure if lady boss got raises her price or not recently after Covid) right?
I am from Northern Malaysia but spent my entire teenager years growing up in SG, so I can say I am very familiar with both versions of the prawn mee. Both are flavorful and taste good but I think the Malaysia version tastes richer and creamier. The red color of soup of the Penang version does come from frying the prawn shells and heads before adding them to the pork bone broth. I do know the soup of the SG version also uses the prawn shells and heads too (including those broths they use to fry white Hokkien mee), just not sure why they are not red...
suit cha...iced chinese tea LOL! suit is ice
Ya okay 👍 good bro vlog
its not that no one sells a SG thing in MY
its just because it will cost 3x more in MY
🤣🤣🤣
Malaysia dish in SG also not 3x cheaper leh haha
Hey Seth, there places I think you left out like:
- Wong Kee Chicken Rice @Section 17 PJ
- O&S Kopitiam at Taman Paramount
- Soon Lee @ PJ OLD TOWN
great suggestions!
Bukit Bintang for awsome variety.
What's good there?
12:45 "simpoue mieu"
LMAO
Try Bihun singapore..
Please come to Sarawak too
What's there to do in Sarawak though?
Haiya Seth you in pj, got village park, restoran al-ehsan and nasi lemak bumbung. 3 of the most famous nasi lemak in kl and you didn't try one of them
we actually tried nasi lemak bumbung for dinner, cos they open late so cant really squeeze into shoot - it as good. I've tried village park before also, wasn't super impressive but maybe next time can give it a shot again
Why?? because its nice🤣🤣🤣
Is that Alice lobak merah?
Lucky 17 Cafe in Section 17 Petaling Jaya has a very good Singapore Hokkien Mee and is owned by a Singaporean.
pls try these if you're still in KL/PJ;
1) Ah Wa Hokkien Mee
2) Annie1
3) Prawn Noodle King @ OUG
thanks!
White prawn Hokkien mee is not that common in KL at least I haven't seen any yet
But I had those in Kulai, Johor last time, near to SG but still errr Malaysia? hahah.
Still Malaysian lol
Actually there are a few places offering Spore Hokkien Mee , but the better one is located at PJ section 17
Wow think even our Malaysian staff didn't know
Malaysia is not just Chinese food. Go to Kampung Baru for the best Malay food. Go to Sentul for the best Indian food.
Also... That's a pineapple lah wei. Not jackfruit!!
Ohh my god, nenas n cempedak is so different.
omg was it a pineapple? think my taste buds got burned already :p
LOL I thought my eyes making fun of me. I kept thinking that looks like pineapple mah
@@simplyme3306 Maybe it's Singaporean pineapple 🤣
It's been a loongg time seen i seen Alice in videos of Lobak Merah 🥺
Lot 10 KL ... Hutong got sell Singapore prawn hokkien mee leh!! Well they also got sell good Msia hokkien black mee, braised Duck and very good char siew and duck rice too
Speaking singaporean thing in malaysia i tell you one bee hoon singapore this one common in malaysia
Which is that?
Malaysia's food is easier to replicate in Singapore and there's a bigger market of Malaysians in Singapore compared to Singaporeans in Malaysia to patronize them.
Fair points
\\a
Shoudl hv gone to T&R by Sean and Angie
What's t&r ?
Speaking of White Hokkien Mee there is one that is selling in Section 17 PJ!!! HOW COME YOU GUYS OVERLOOK👊👀👀
there is one ??!
Passge thru India🇮🇳 Indian restaurant KL
Why Singapore sell a lot of Malaysian Food but Singaporean food is not sold in Malaysia. Simple reason mah, so many Malaysians come to Singapore to work. How many Singaporeans cross the border and work in Malaysia 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 If there are 500,000 Singaporeans working in JB sure have Sg Hokkien Mee also lar.
This makes a lot of sense
Not recommend
The soup too sweet like add too much sugar and overpriced rm9.90 for 1bowl and the ingredients 1/2 egg 1pcs prawn 3slices thin pork
SGD1:RM3 leh Auntie, which Singapore hawker will wanna go sell their food in Malaysia ? why malaysian dont sell Singapore food ? becos they dont noe and dun hav the skills to cook them ! malaysia hawkers always go the ez way out with sauces so our food like fried hokkien prawn mee will be too troublesome for them to cook.. AUNTIE
Lousy Malaysian style of the porridge
Not HK style Tang Chai porridge
Why are you still not fat???
my tummy is pretty visible - you never look hard enuff 😅
Malaysia bak kut teh is lame. Anyone can cook that
