Castro is wonderful for healing of post menopause lady parts. It has been amazing for me. But also… my OBYGN told me to use organic coconut oil during intimacy with my husband. It is a game changer. We use it liberally and it does not stain the sheets or bedding. We not only use it intimately but it is also wonderful for massage. . It’s a thinner oil and not sticky. Castor oil is wonderful for healing and strengthening thin skin in lady parts and organic coconut oil is wonderful for intimacy. I wish I knew about it sooner!

Some women should be careful of using coconut oil for intimacy because coconut oil is highly alkaline while the natural PH of the vagina is acidic. Yeast infections can plague some women while others have no problems.

Thank you for your tips on Castor oil, especially for the important female parts LOL. I, like you, went into menopause in my early 40s, at 44 years old. From hysterectomy. So like yourself I still wanted to be intimate, as I’m married forever lol & these are the he things that I discovered that changed my life around. I did a lot of study on how to relubricate the vagina and this is what I take with tremendous results , again not costly:
Every morning I take 2 teaspoons of flax seed oil, extra-virgin organic etc. It stores in the fridge
Each morning & night I take 3 Slippery Elm (6/day)
    2 Seabuckthorn capsules daily
You have to drink plenty of water, the Slippery Elm works with mucous membrane’s, which I did not know Our vagina was. My gosh I cannot believe how intimacy went from
Painful back to enjoyable. I have told so many ladies this one, and also shared with my health food store. I’d been using Gynatroph for internal lubricant which was still painful during intimacy Things are good now, I will add Castor oil as I’m using that daily on my skin and face now. Thanks and good luck with everything!

Catherine, I cannot thank you enough for sharing your story. Like you, I’m married to my high school sweetheart and ( forever). We dated for 6 years, I finished nursing school and then we got married. It has been almost 32 years of marriage. I feel so bad saying he is hurting me. He now has a cardiac issue that is serious, and although I hope to have him a long time, we don’t know. And although there are other ways to be close, I want to regain this aspect of our life for as long as we can. I will try and share your ideas. We have such a wonderful community of women here. I know my channel is small, but my heart is in it for the right reasons. I truly believe we can use this platform to help other women. Maybe one day my reach will be greater. I am going to do a follow up, more in depth on this subject in the near future. Thank you for helping so many. I’m glad you are here! Please continue to share! Mona

That is the nicest thing I have heard today! I’ve been working on another video with a deeper dive on the subject. I have been wanting this channel to go deeper into issues women really need to discuss. This video was a test drive. There are so many things that we “women” can help each other with by talking openly! I’m ready to take the chance! It’s important to me that we not only play with makeup or talk about superficial things ( which are fine some of the time) but I also want us to have real conversations about things that matter. I’ve had quite a few unsubscribe, but I’m not being crass. I’m talking about real issues we face as women! Thank you 😊 💕🥰

I just found your channel. I have been using castor oil for the last 5 months. I am mildly incontinent and let me tell you it works great for the skin health down there. It has seemed to help with yeast and as a moisture barrier before bed. It has worked great for my dry eyes, thickens my lashes (I had a spot on my bottom lash that never grew well. It is growing now), and my eyebrows are thicker. I recently cut my face while plucking my eyebrows, I keep caster oil on it, no scar, and it healed in 3 days. Thank you for sharing on this sensitive topic. I've just started using castor oil on my face and body - but I've been in pain post and peri menopause for years, which has resulted in no intimacy (in that sense). I've tried an oestrogen gel, but it hasn't helped much. I'll definitely have a try with castor oil. It's improving my psoriasis on my elbows and knees and so far, I've been really impressed by it. Thank you again for being so open about this.♡

Hey Mona! I've always kept castor oil in my medicine cabinet, but I wouldn't say I'm on the bandwagon at all. I don't use it for skincare or anything else. I have used it to make what's called castor oil packs for sore muscles, inflammation, and various concerns, specifically for my pets. But I saw Liedy's video, and Lisa at Peach Skincare has done a video, and now you are doing one, so you've got my attention for sure! I really appreciate how honest and thorough you are. I am looking forward to your updates on your finger and your husband's plantar fasciitis and your scars. Been using it for three months on my face at night. Also a little on my knees, arms and feet. The last spot I apply it is under my ribs on my right side, it helps cleanse toxins from the liver. They say.
So far my face is looking a tiny bit supple, but nothing too noticeable. My lashes and brows are the same. But I believe my vision is better. I don't use my reading glasses much anymore. My hands do look a little younger. I'll give it more time.

I didn’t want to waste it so I used it on my hands and elbows…it did help with dry skin and my finger nails as I am a avid gardener and I don’t like wearing gloves so I can attest that it really helped my hands better than any hand lotion.

Thank you for joining the conversation! I have been trying it on my lashes and brows but I have not had any success so far. It has not caused irritation though. The main benefits I have found have been getting rid of crepey skin by adding it to my bath water and helping me tolerate tretinoin/retin -A and relieving pain due to vaginal atrophy- all things that center around it’s emollient qualities and ability to seal in moisture

I stumbled on your video because I recently, 6 months ago, discovered castor oil due to my hair loss. Now at 6 months later I’m finding out through videos what supposed miracles castor oil also does for us. The castor oil I bought has a rancid smell to it and when i asked around I was told it would Abel kind of funky and was normal. Last night I stumbled on a video where the creator said cool pressed castor oil has a shelf life and almost doesn’t have a shell to it. So which is true so u can decide to get rid of it or not. It has helped with my eye brows, it has helped with my growth as well. I haven’t tried it for anything else but only on occasion to lubricate my facial skin.

    • @AboutFaceWithMona
      @AboutFaceWithMona  23 дні тому +2

Hi and welcome to my little channel. I would not use it if it has a smell. Mine does not have a smell that I can detect. I use cold pressed, hexane free in a dark bottle. I do find it has a shelf life and can get a smell after a while. I actually put some into a smaller glass bottle so I am not going in and out of the larger one to possibly contaminate it. That is probably not necessary though. The black castor oil does have a kind of nutty smell because it is processed differently. I have not found any castor oil miracles yet, but it has helped with things that benefit from holding moisture in. I’m testing it in several ways right now and have a few castor oil videos. I am interested to see what my results are in about 5 more weeks!

Hi I recently started using castor oil. I use it on my face and next morning my skin looks plump, but it doesn't last all day. I also used it on my shoulder that I injured when I fell a few months ago and I have to have surgery, but really helped me with my pain. I have also used it on two warts each day and on two millia on my face, they softened and got smaller but haven't gone away. I put a small amount in my belly button using a qtip and it really helps with some pretty bad hip pain I have that at times has been debilitating. I am 66 years old and wish I had started using it sooner in life.

Castor oil & "mewing"( a whole other topic) have been my favorite discoveries this year~ both amazing, both multiple benefits. I also highly recommend the same Heritage brand, & love that it's also reasonably priced for the quality~ which is top notch, imho.
Yes~ it's true re the vaginal lubrication/atrophy, & we should discuss it as it's truly important in life! Good on you for bringing it up. Love the tips provided here, especially the massage idea, hadn't thought about that for increasing blood supply~ great idea.
I do love how much better I sleep with a castor oil pack over my liver area. Also use it straight on my feet & heels, but mix it w/jojoba oil for moisturizing the rest of my body & my face. Jojoba oil is one of the only carrier oils w/small enough molecules to penetrate more deeply into the derma layers. It also mitigates some of the stickiness of castor oil. In addition, jojoba will help any other actives (tretinoin, Vit C, etc) reach deeper into the skin.

Thank you so much Mona, welcome back. I have started using it for my moisturizer on my face, eyelashes and eyebrows. I have long lashes because I have used serums for years so I’m hoping to replace my serums mainly because of the cost. I haven’t used it long enough to know the results. The thing I do know it helps with is constipation. I use a dropper to add some in my bellybutton. It surprised me that it is so easily absorbed. Anyway, the next morning I have a surprisingly great bowel movement. I thought if you could talk about intimacy I could talk about using the bathroom, lol. I’m in the testing phases of what it might help me with and I for sure will be trying your tip on the intimacy. Thanks Mona, I’m so glad your back.

I love castor oil and it has improved my undereye dark circles over time, amoung other benefits. We used it with baking soda to remove skin tags so you might try that on your calous. We just combined CO with baking soda on a large band-aid and placed it over the area overnight. I had 3 small skin tags on the back of my neck and they were gone after 3 uses. Cheers from Canada. I saw a tip somewhere to add the baking soda and I couldn't believe how quickly it worked for my 3 skin tags and for hubby's one skin tag. I started using the castor oil because someone said that it would help with eye Floaters and I had plantars fasciitis. I started rubbing it on my feet just for moisture because my feet are dry and I didn’t realize it had been over a month and all of a sudden I noticed it wasn’t complaining about my feet. I wasn’t hobbling when I walked it had just stopped, and I hadn’t realized that it stopped. So I can testify that it does cure plantars fasciitis. My husband has issues with the tendons in his hand. I massage the oil into his hands, which has helped him tremendously. And just by putting the castor oil on my eyes for the floaters, my eyelashes have grown. I never had a problem with them before, but they’re thicker and so are my eyebrows, which was not something I was looking for, but that has helped.
