I have been eyeballing this since the sneak peaks, mostly bc my collection is devoid of any core neutrals right now. Based soley on the handful of other DM products I have and use, I am a huge Color Fix stan, I will definitely be buying this as soon as I can. I love how much one can do with it and as much as I love having all the makeup, at the end of the day I acutally like havng it all hand in one palette. I must note, I don't really contour my face so the pan size is no problem for me. Oh and I like powder for eyebrows Oh, re the flecks, I saw on Reddit about another product, those are put in matte shadows by some brands bc it helps with the blending

Hi Maryam! Hi everyone! I love your reviews and always appreciate your candor. I ordered mine this afternoon and I'm expecting it to arrive by Friday... After hearing your concerns about the pomade pans being too small for your face brushes, which I agree, I think I'll try picking up the product on a medium face brush and blend out with a larger brush for better results. Using this palette for my pro kit, I plan to depot the pans into a smaller magnetic palette and I intend to scoop the pomade onto my acrylic palette for sanitation purpose. I would love if she released a magnetic version that you could pick 4 shades (8 pans total) and fill it so it would suit you. I would get brow color, black for liner, a contour shade, and the lightest.
I so agree with DM products being a daily source of joy! She is such a bright and beautiful person/artist and that really comes through in the brand. Truly one of the most underrated and innovative makeup experiences out there.

I’m glad to see that the pomade formula works well layered with other shimmers. Can’t wait to pop out some of my most used shades to travel with ✈️

I ordered this yesterday, I have hooded eyes an thought this would actually be awesome. I’m excited to get it an use. I will probably use other palettes with it but contouring my eyes with this I think is gonna be great

I can see this as a great overall palette especially since you can mix to make it your own !!! Her products are for us all. Even us mature babes !! I mean for that price too ?. It’s even cheaper than another new matte palette that has come out. She has the greatest quality and doesn’t charge a forTUNE LOVE THAT. Maybe place the powders and use a bigger brush to blend ??? I use a small brush. Ha ha. I have a tiny face. Sorry edit. I love that you share what peeps get you. Also what teeny pink brush is that one ??

Doesn’t have to do everything, when it does eyes more mesmerizing than any other makeup before. It’s the most magical invention ever! It’s so remarkable, just magnificent. So good so good really incredibly great!

Best review! I think ppl with darker skin tones prefer more pomade and less powder. My skin loves cream formulations and I barely use powder or setting powders.
This is definitely perfect for working makeup artists. This would be great for runway neutral makeup because you have shadow, brows, liner, possibly face powder that would suit 90% if models

You can fold the mirror completely back. The pans come out if you wanted to travel and only take what you need. You mentioned it’s bulky.
I want the powders to be where the mirror is, but that's ok. I'm getting this on my birthday. Seems fool proof to blend and I like that.

For the eyes is fine but to advertise for the face and have those small small pans is pointless
65$ is a reach considering that you can fit only eye brushes in those pans
I love it for detail work not necessarily for the entire face.
It looks like a great palette but I don’t think it’s for me I’m with you on I like big brushes to contour and the pans would be annoying for me but you speak so highly of the blurring balm I deffo want to try that!❤❤

I just found your channel. You are delightful. Great review. If I were still an active MUA I would definitely pick this up but for personal use it’s a pass. The formula looks nice though.

Now that I look at it and read the comments, she should have made the powder pans the large size and the cream the small. I feel like that was a big mistake

perhaps, but only on those two shades
I choose safety over vanity! All of the Danessa Myricks products and ingredients are sourced and made in PRC/China. Read the fine print on the packaging and their website. From my experience, the standards of care and safety are better when products are made outside of China. Time will tell if the palette turns hard pan, or smells or looks moldy - I would not use brushes on lips and then apply onto my eyes.. the whole concept of these palettes is unsanitary!!
Honestly I have my Dominique cosmetics palette that has bigger pans and also has blushes that I grab everytime i travel, so i will skip this release.
I’m a professional makeup artist and just received this pallette. I’m curious, how are we supposed to keep the products hygienic as far as the pomades go?
you could probably scoop some product out onto a flat surface
Dont double dip brushes or you can also buy a powder disinfecting spray.
Not the Jaclyn Hill lipstick fibers on the palette! 🤣

Absolutely not for me. I do have a lot of respect for DM. But to me it looks like a brow palette for a makeup artist. Not for the average consumer.

I bought it and it’s very nice. I have pat mcgrath too but these are so user friendly and the creamy colors are great priming colors for the powders.

I do not like Denessa Myricks customer service. Just rude and unprofessional. Can’t get my money and be rude. Too many other better companies to support
