@@Guramaki thanks for asking. I’m 61 and turn 62 next month. I’m very fortunate to have good training partners that go hard but are also mindful of my age. Except the women in my class. They go hard like I’m their age 😂. I’ve dropped some of my recovery techniques in previous videos but I’ll dedicate one to my recovery process🙏🙏🙏
@@rcjits-of3ks thanks for your reply! I’m actually lighter than you at around 130 lbs so training with women is perfect for me, although since I train in Japan there’s more lighter guys than in Hawaii. I’m a 54 blue belt and I get injuries here and there even though I only train about 2 times a week, so I’m always looking for advice from older guys who train a lot. Especially older guys who are on the lighter side. Look forward to the hearing more about your recovery strategies!
@@Guramaki curious what area of Japan you are in. I always love to train when I travel and have a trip in October to Tokyo. I recently started doing warm epsom salt bath soaks. That seems to help me along with my cold plunge.
@@rcjits-of3ks I train at Carpe Diem in Machida. It’s a bit far out from downtown Tokyo so not sure if you’d be able to get out here. But it would be great if we could train together.
Such an inspiration, congrats again Robin!!! Earned, never given 🙌🏾
@@bobbyg6192 thank-you so much 🙏.
Love you guys! Congrats Robin! Incredibly inspirational!
@@DustinPacleb thanks Dustin. Set your sights high and you’ll be surprised at what you can achieve🙏
Congratulations! Just curious but how old are you and how do you stay injury-free with all of the training you do? Maybe a topic for a video? 😅
