Aaahhh...dial-up internet! I remember clicking on a link and falling asleep before the page loaded! The struggle was REAL!

I remember dialing into Prodigy in the early 90's as a kid on a 286 PC with EGA graphics. It was a different time, and such a different experience. It inspired a sense of awe and wonder to get on a worldwide network back then. Today, it's just normal everyday stuff that we take for granted.

I remember those days fondly as well. When the Internet was so new and novel. I remember being on AOL in the early-mid 90s and running up a $25 ISP bill for my parents.

Ah the good old days. I miss them. You could actually speak with people that wrote the software.

I remember my brother getting the fatalities and move list for the arcade version of mortal kombat I or II from a kid down the street, saying he had hooked his phone line up to prodigy but I had no idea what that meant. It was printed on that multi-layered paper with the holes you can tear off the ends.

In Jan 1991, my rich roommate at college had AOL. My dad got Compuserve. And i got Prodigy.

Exactly. AOL (America Online) merged with Time Warner Entertainment Company in 2000 to become AOL Time Warner (or just AOLTW).

I used to work or a company called SPS in the late 90s. I did phone support for Prodigy.
