Love manioc. I’m here in Mauritius at the moment and we just came back from Super U with some horrible, dry, store bought manioc, whereas we bought some in Port Louis the other day at Caudan which was much stickier, softer and better all around. Will give your recipe a go when we get home to Australia. Thank you Shelina.
je vais ajouter un commentaire favorable cette fois ci parce que j'ai pu suivre la recette en français lors de la vidéo, trop génial pour votre Poudine Manioc
More Mauritian should learn to speak English like you which I know is very difficult for them. They will hit more like in UA-cam instead of posting in local kreol language which we don't understand at all. Your English is good and you have a beautiful voice. You got a sub.
Thank you for this recipe!! I’m gonna try to make it soon. Hopefully I’ll be able to do it justice! My mum, brother and I absolutely love this!!! You’re right, it’s not around in Mauritius as much as before
Please show us to make “manioc galette “! This galette is very mauricienne & our great grand parents used to make them but I think this recipe has been lost, no one so has the recipe. I hope you can find it. With heartfelt thanks
Hi Shelina, greetings from the US. it reminisces me of the food culture I grew up with in Mauritius. We will definitely try your recipe. Looks really gummy and yummy!
Many Mauritians speak English well, how can you say most of them do not speak English well. Mauritians know English, French and Creole and other languages as well..
@@soohasniroopchand2092 don't know what she'll do if she has to travel or get a life saving medicine prescription written in English.. Then she will understand English. Hypocrisis to a supreme level😁😁

Bìbî Bàñôņ...from Reunion Island..🖒🖒
I came for the recipe but I left appreciating her accent more than the recipe
Hi Shelina, I didn’t have coconut with me, so I used evaporated milk, will this still work?
You could use normal milk that's absolutely fine but evaporated milk will make the recipe a bit too thick
@@ShelinaPermallooCooks Yeah that's exactly what happened, total flopp, it's okie I will try again. :)
I get it totally. One of my fav.
Hello.. can i have a substitute for coconut milk please

Hello
I don't like your comment either. This video isn't for you. You need to go to school again and learn English. Come out of your bubble.

It's not galette manioc. Galette manioc is flat, dry and brown.
