I am not biggest Tarantino fan but that is a brilliant set. I think that clear piece is supposed to be a film cell. Could be wrong. Glad you got something you enjoy!

I absolutely love this film, but unfortunately there’s absolutely no up pick in quality of the picture. It looks identical to the already released blu-ray.

Looks cool! Still no Atmos or DTS: X track? That’s just lazy on their part. I bet they didn’t even do anything to clean up what I heard wasn’t a good 4K initial release we got initially.
Is this the same as Universal's 4k upscaled 2k release that doesn't have Dolby Vision? The original movie had a 2k DI and I wonder if Zavvi is using using the same crappy upscale rendering and just adding some fancy packaging?
I'm pretty sure it is the exact same transfer and disc unfortunately.
You saw unboxings because it came out awhile ago, then they made more. So Limited to 1,000? It sold out and then they did another run, so 1,00 on each run?
I passed since it is Censored art.
The Set Manta Lab put out a fews years back is WAY nicer.

Yes, that one is the one we got in US, but US one was NOT censored art. The UK one is.

@@enzoperez5870 Yes, they ship to US, but beware they VERY poorly, so except it to be damaged. And their customer service is horrendous.
@@mg-ThisHandleIsSoStupid I buy from Zavvi UK and get things imported to the US quit a bit. Other than the 2-4 week ship times I haven't had any major issues with damage. Once they forgot two titles in a shipment, I sent them a question via their website about it and they immediately sent out replacements the following day.

Zavvi have brought it out again - 2000 more - so not so exclusive now. However, the 4K is the worst ever transfer, no better than the Blu Ray. Shame as this set is fantastic.
