For me it was the last and it took me a while to understand me and my worth but I gotta say, you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, it takes self steem and self love to initiate on a journey of betterment.
It goes hand by hand, once I started accepting and loving myself and believing in myself, I started eating healthier, after that, losing weight, doing cardio, studying more, laughing more and being happier.

i know many of you people will figure it out by yourself but, still i want to share this to make things easier for you all.
here is what i have noticed with myself when it comes to self esteem. there was a time when i was like a really low key being, didnt like myself much. and one of reasons for that was because everything i did never satisfied people. well, more accuratly, the things i liked to do alot were the things people never liked. for e.g playing video games(typical parents thinking shooting games makes you violent kinda situation). so, i used to get alot of negative criticism for being that way as a kid.
to make it short, the reason you think so less of yourself is because you have been made to believe that you are less. and the only way i can challange that thought is by asking you this.
think of all the drawbacks you have that makes you think your less of yourself ok?
now ask yourself...all these drawbacks you though of...HOW MANY OF THEM DID YOU, YOURSELF TEST AND FIGURED OUT TO BE TRUE?
this is what many people dont do, the never test it themselves exactly how capable they truly and and simply live on with the false believe others have forced them to believe.
las piece of quote from a 16 year old kid who made this quote at the age of 14: "i know that there are many scars and loopholes in you that are caused by your parents, friends, society etc. however, instead of constantly blaming yourself for it. if it TAKE IT UPON YOURSELF TO FIX THOSE LOOPHOLES. THEN,MY FRIEND, YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO SUFFER FOR THE MISTAKES OTHERS MADE ON YOU."

I never gave too much thought of it. When people see you a certain way, they try to frame you into that. They aren't used to see people getting better in self development. Most people are always the same way. You have enough with your inner voice. Don't let others frame you. You are you, and you know yourself better than others about what is exactly the problem and how to solve it, and the great things you have done, that may be not so much, but for you, giant steps.
The other thing is that when you do something very difficult like achieving some objective: no fap, going to the gym, money, gains in muscle, using only cold water for a month... You have VALID reasons to Believe in yourself. Or at least your brain will acknowledge that. Like Hamza says, all these guys masturbate, I don't. My discipline is so much better... And it's actually true, it is.

Not only that, but even when it comes to dealing with your 'demons' and bad thoughts. If you go on reddit, trying to find someone that will understand you, all you will find is people genuinely mentally ill and even writing: "How to deal with negative thoughts" will make you bring out more negativity 90% of the time. This is because 99% of the mfs on the internet, even the psychiatric associations have labelled mental illnesses as having such common symptoms bro. It's so easy for ppl to just self diagnose themselves: "Oh I must have depression" and it makes it an even worse problem then what it started off as.

I think that sometimes it can help to do more good things than just focus on the bad. Instead of focusing on, “I’m not going to play video games all day today.” Focus on, “I’m going to play basketball for two hours today with some friends.” The more positive stuff you do the less room negative stuff has to take up.
Not to say that video games are inherently negative or basketball with friends is inherently positive, but I think you get my point. Don’t focus on what you want out of your life, focus on what you want in your life and it makes it easier to improve.

Being really competent at things that other people do not do is a prerequisite for having a strong sense of self-worth.
In this manner, you will gain respect from parents, men, and women in addition to self-esteem.
Would you respect a man with a good physique and a manly build if you saw him in a room full of guys?
The subconscious is aware of the extraordinary discipline and work this man has put in to get such a nice physique.
I therefore advise you to develop discipline and work hard at all you do, brother.

7:46 reason why it works is because you'll start to dwell on it and do things that confident men do. However, those who say what they wanna say is just that. It's what they wanna hear. So, just because someone says that they're confident doesn't mean that they are hence why actions speak louder than words. It's like a 6th sense. Or from these two, a 2nd sense you have unlocked. 👽

Personally I’ve noticed your individual personality is what matters most, even if the stereotype is pervasive. Just make a video shedding light on the scene anyway?

Hamza I changed my habits to waking up early then doing hiit workout on a threadmill plus I’m on a calorie deficit diet. It’s the least i could do at home since gyms are temporarily closed due to covid. My problem is each day i feel like I become more lazy about working out at home. What should I do?

    • @Hamza97
      @Hamza97  3 роки тому +49

home workouts build the same muscle as gym workouts imo, it's just that people don't hold the same level of discipline for them. You're losing motivation, but motivation was never needed anyway. Set a plan to hit x workouts a week at a certain time per day. Then stick to that plan religiously and know that any thoughts that you have that tell you to not stick to that plan are simply the lizard brain. Don't trust the lizard brain. You aren't doing this for yourself, you're doing it for your future self. And he really hopes that you keep up that discipline

I just struggle. I play tennis and every time I get on that court I just think I’m a loser. It goes back to my dad pushing me in sports and never giving me an ounce of recognition when he had me competing against teenagers at age 9. I used to be chubby and even though I have a pretty athletic body now I just still see myself as a loser. I worry about what other think and it messes with my confidence. I’m confident at times, but I just want to love myself so I can finally be the athlete I’ve been training to be for years.

But how do you convince yourself of that delusion that you’re the man that you wish to become when you are starting out or when you haven’t built up enough evidence to prove to yourself that you’re that person. Aren’t you trying to make yourself believe in what seems to be a lie because it’s technically not true yet? If so, then how do you do it? It’s almost as if your soul won’t accept it because it hasn’t seen any or enough reason (yet) to believe it

What would you recommend for the journaling? I used to be a gaming addict, a virgin, skinny, out of shape, insomniac with terrible posture. I am none of these things anymore (posture could still be improved, especially sitting, but it’s not nearly as bad as before) and yet I still feel like that gaming , skinny, loser, virgin kid in my head. How do I stop feeling like the loser I used to be? I am much better than I was, I am now attractive, healthy, fit, not a virgin, not a gaming addict. I’ve experienced the world as one of the losers, and one of the cool kids (or so it feels anyways) and I feel like the loser in me still resides not there. I am a good person because I know what it feels like to be a loser. I’ve never been bullied, but I still treat everyone with respect unless they give me reason not to. I know why I felt like a loser, I am not the same but I still feel the old me inside of me. Great video mate, any advice?

Not Hamza, but you literally just described me as well. I would say to take up meditation (I've done it here and there, but never to a deep/introspective level) and try addressing the prompt he suggested in the vid. Personally, I've always found these sorts of self-improvement habits to be "cringey", but as I get older (23) I find that having such a reductionist viewpoint only really serves to impede my own growth as a man, and now I hate that I neglected my own mental-health for so long. Either way, you have to start somewhere so that you can look back at this time and feel proud that you took the journey in the first place. Good luck

For me it was seeing pictures taken of me by other people with different angles, like I noticed how big my arms had gotten and I noticed how tall and attractive I looked, instantly got rid of all my body insecurities. Still working on myself mentally tho, people don't think I'm that trustworthy with tasks because I keep fucking things up and the one time I actually took the "leader" role In December for getting a present for my Friend I wasn't able to accomplish anything. Its gotten to the point where they refuse to even give me menial tasks like getting the ice from the freezer.
