As a Nepalese living in the US, it was good to watch the interview of the US Ambassador to Nepal. Sama normally puts tough and intelligent questions in Nepali interviews, and she is not submissive. It was not so tonight. In Nepal, people are judged by the correctness of English. To become grammatically correct she missed tough questions. You are judged by your level of intelligent not by the knowledge of a language you do not speak at home. Not to mess up with language you brought simple issues like visa fee. Visa fee is so little with compared to other cost of travel to the US. That should not have been something a Nepalese would bring to the US Ambassador.

First of all, Sama ji, 140 dollars not 100 dollars for the visa application. You should have instead asked why the american government gives 10 years tourist visa to indian nationals and only 5 years to Nepalese for same application fee.

That was a great Question at 23:50 but unfortunately most of the students completing studies in US doesn’t return back home. This is the onus of our government to create opportunities for those graduates.

America shouldn't get too much involved in Nepal . But should try to complete the projects as well at the same time.

Though we are always greatful to US for its help towards Nepal and always have a good relation people to people but no doubt about it America always comes with string attached for example MCC which was completely denied by Nepalese people. Then why US has so much interest in very ambiguous MCC plan? Seems US Gov has never learned anything from Afghanistan.

The ball is in the pocket of America in sustaining peace in the world. Nepal is dominated by geopolitics and it is sorounded by gaint populace countries like Chaina and India .Nepal keeps greater axpectation to USA for contribution to maintaing peace in Nepal. Since ,Nepal is beeing impassed throuhgh various hindrances posed by seen unseen elements. We all Nepali people wish for let Nepal be left for peaceful country where in let the people of world come to Nepal and have resperation of peace and tranquility as Nepal beeing a land of birthplace of Buddha and land of Shiva civilization . Again we Nepali have requist to all Developed countries like USA ,CHAINA and India let contribute to Nepal for maintaining peace .Jaye Nepal Jaye Rastra.
