In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

JD Lewis is an incredible speaker. He could probably talk about any topic and make it "must-see TV."

This video is underrated.. don't judge this vid o by the number of views on this video. I hope this video blows up and reaches more people.

wow,I really needed to hear this! This is one of the "yes´s" that will fight the "no´s", and they are many many many... but most of them I say myself, to myself . :P So, my mind needs some work ;)

This is great! to see a family who has older children doing this. We have 4 girls aged 7- 12 years and its been tough making or world travel debut as our oldest is struggling with the social aspect and missing friends. Any other families out there who are travelling now with older kids? I would love to know more about how your managing this and managing finances and home school as these seem to be the biggest struggle areas.

Wow, how unaware of American privilege can one be? While people are drowning in the Mediterranean and are detained at border camps, the message of „you can do it, just travel the world“ must really hurt. Just try that with a different passport.
