- 11AM Rededication Service - 4th video of the restored Great Aeolian Skinner Organ, Op. 150B, featuring the world renowned State Trumpet stop. This clip is an interlude/improvisation during the Offertory Hymn 'Immortal, invisible God only wise', by Walter Chalmers Smith. The Cathedral's Director of Cathedral Music and Organist Bruce Neswick performs.
The reverb of this cathedral is tremendous. The playing is excellent.
We do miss Bruce. Bruce is a genius and dear friend. He always amazes me.
Atlanta definitely misses Bruce. What a wonderful organist! Great videos LivZDave!! It's almost like being there. 5 stars
Dear lad.,
Well yes, your probably quite right; we should see however what lizdave thinks about say, praying for divine intervention - a find on the bus, perhaps.
.
Being left one in a will.
.
Given that Chruch doctrine is based around the fact of the trinity, a tripod would probably like you -be welcomed.
.
What sort of camera do you use for your videos?
Are you able to get by without a tripod?
.
Are you a Church-goer?
Have you heard the Ladegast Organ?
This cathedral is an Anglican Episcopal?
It is the Episcopal cathedral of New York.
no knealers? why doesn't the Cathedral have knealers?
Andrew Carey it’s an episcopal cathedral
It doesn't have fixed seating in the nave.
the new seats replaced older rush-seats with kneelers. After the fire, they were replaced with these ugly chairs. But is that really your take-away from this service?
I'm sure he did the best he could, and a tripod would be quite out of place at a service.
One must wonder---
Is this worship?
Or entertainment😮😮😮
Hey, buy a tripod !
