Uoto sensei also happened to be the youngest mangaka who won that award. Those who read it knows that it is a masterpiece. However, it has trouble with publisher to distribute in West so minimal circulation of volume outside of Japan. Kenjiro Tsuda personally shot call Novak role 3 years ago as it is his favourite manga and his favourite character. Amazarashi wrote 2 songs about it. Somehow got Sakanaction to sing for OP (one of more popular bands in JP who did Shintakarajima, but didnt want to make anime song until this). So essentially Madhouse has picked up something truly special and cooking here, and barely anyone knows about it outside of Japan.

This is what you call UNDERRATED PEAK. I don’t really know why no one is talking about this anime, mostly probably because people like shonen better or dislike the fact that this anime contains “scientific” stuff. I swear, if you like vinland saga then you must watch this anime asap.
It's sad because literally every anime season has at least 2 shows that are super interesting and creative stories. But ofc they ain't jjk and dandadan people literally just wait for the battle Shonen to catch on stuff. Just sad

Great video. Really well made. One thing I noticed is it feels like there isn't enough breathing room whilst you're talking. It felt particularly noticeable on something like going from talking about the background characters, to music, to the dark colour palette in 15 seconds at around 3:28. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is that makes this feel off, but I wanted to mention it on the off chance you agree and it helps improve your videos. Orb is top 5 for me this season out of 30+. I rate even as I watch, mainly by enjoyment and I know it's bad that I give Orb and Loner Life in Another World the same score for now, but at least I can tell one is objectively great and another is just fun trash. Also, I use Anilist and scores are usually lower than MAL for everything because Anilist has 5 scoring systems to choose from, and users can score as low as 0.1/10. But Orb is still the 3rd highest rated new anime series this season there, but my favorite has to be Blue Box.
My favorite anime this whole season. I’m going a lot hate in this opinion but I think orb movement is better than rezero and Dan Dan. The premise is so engaging and character are written so good. The most interesting plot I’ve seem this year. To put it simply it like Vinland saga but with astronomy and religion. If you have been keeping with the show, there more than 1 mc. Ep 1 mc changes. First anime I’ve every seen anime where they kill the mc in first few ep(ep3)
I liked the first 3 chapters so much that I read the entire manga until chapter 4 came out. It is a very good work with very interesting twists, and quite bittersweet.
For me it was the complete opposite. I'm quite used to reading 100-150 chapters of a manga between episodes if I get interested, but after episode 3 I REALLY wanted to watch it without knowing what comes next. Though it's hard to hold myself when it also locks me from looking for fanfics.
This show is really good so far, i went ahead and bought the manga volumes that were available immediately after the third episode. Not sure if you've watched Wistoria: Wand and Sword from Summer season. Check it out if you havnt, I liked it quite a bit .

Granted i only made it to like episode 16. He does have his good moments, but not enough to make me like him. Edit- is it worth to keep watching? and why?
To be brutally honest, the reason why it's not popular is because it's not really aiming to be one. The theme is too narratively intricate, and it's not very engaging. And that's fine. It's good if it's good. No need to go talk trash about other series just because something you like is not popular. ☕🗿

The main character is straight up a warning sign to what happened to other characters who choose to walk different path like him.
Historically speaking his path wasn't really all that different. A lot of what the anime shows isn't actually how things were.
