Me too and as usual my mom is already putting me down for watching your video. I’ll be the one laughing when I’m the one with (dream=Let’s just say to be fair too me-$3,000 in 4-5 MTHS yet hoping for more!) Every damn time I try to do something to better me or my life it’s always a put down from my mom😢. Just like I didn’t need my meds so she took one of the most important ones for my extreme anxiety and flushed them and I had 2 serious bad seizures(the drs said the likes of which they’ve never seen before I was in Critical care and was had a near death experience -Pray she felt like a buttwipe! For Real! Sorry for venting. I just stumbled upon you and love your nails, calming voice etc…. Stay sweet Mrs/Ms Beautiful ❤💜🤗🇺🇸🙏🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞=Good Luck! I’ll prove her wrong once again. Even my career she put me down yet did before becoming disabled due 3 hellacious accidents none my fault-The 3rd disabled me for life-Plz don’t text and drive, Was in the Medical Field for 37 years. Sha-nah-nah too her-Proved her wrong and I’ll do it again once I learn your system.

You can get envelope or pocket day planners almost anywhere. Get the kind you can personalize and make it your own. From Walmart, Dollar General to office supply stores.

Any jar will work. I did this year's ago. So if you can't buy her money folder, use any can you have at home. Take the lable off, if you don't have a permanent marker, take will work. Write it down on the tape, adhere it to the can. Just my 2 cent's 😁👍
If you wanna do this Start by paying ur bills first of that month and split ur money with whats left over
Put the money aside that will get u thru next paycheck. Avoid eating out n unnecessary spending. It will be so hard but i promise it will be worth it .and you will be able to have money by next paycheck making it easier to seperate it pay bills n have money aside

I used to do something like this (way less fancy and organized) when I waitressed. It was hard bringing home random amounts of money on a daily basis. You get in your mind oh I'll just make that back tomorrow... setting it aside specifically for certain bills kept the bills paid.your little binders and pockets are super cute

I love managing my money like this. Makes you really think when you spend because you see it as real money not just a swip of the card. My only regret was getting into debt and having to learn this the hard way in my 20's.

It's a proven fact. Budgeting is a lost discipline. But when we can budget we learn to have control over our money and not be scrambling to pay utilities and groceries. SO EMPOWERING!!!

She had money that we didn't know she had until she passed away and we were cleaning her things out...needles to say she had$ for her final arrangements and enough to take care of us.

Love love love how you do this! My system was very similar to yours. I just used regular white envelopes. That was about 25 years ago. I was able to save so much! Great job!!

Bless you for doing that. I met a guy recently that told me he found a blank money order with the stub attached once in the amount of $3500!! Guess what he told me he did...HE SPENT IT ALL!! Said he used it to pay his bills. We no longer talk.

I really love doing this I just feel like now that I’m in college I have like zero time to do any of these things but I use it like a budgeting or a finance class and I learned a ton about myself but also how much I actually spend and how much I actually make a week which is unbelievable

I love that you use cash, I still use cash and people sometimes think It is weird that I only use cash like tbh it can seem suspicious 😹 but I can just keep track of my spending and money when I have something visible and tangible and smth I can touch and measure the value of with my hands. It just helps my weird lil brain, numbers typed on a screen just doesn’t grab my brain like notes and cash does
