this is not just piece of music - this was memory worth of two decades. magic happens at 1:43 - gives goosebumps. i couldn't stop myself watching rambo 4 ending scene where this music was played.

@@TB1M1 I think it's a downward spiral that comes from directors having no or very little musical knowledge and the composer marketplace being somewhat oversaturated because of sampling. This means that if a composer wants to stay afloat he or she can't fight the director to tell them 12 horns and rock band percussion isn't the most musical combination. The one hope & salvation I see is that in some games (mostly indies) there is a wealth of relatively unknown musical talent, so that's where I tend to go these days if I'm looking for memorable melodies and creative new works.
I saw the movie. I could absolutely understand Rambo's wish for revenge after losing Gabriela too, and at the very end those bastards got what they deserved. I remember crying three times during the movie, they were able to show Rambo's emotions in such a beautiful way, and the soundtrack is genius.
Great film. Nothing will beat the natural genius of Goldsmith Music. But i guess this compliments the score. First blood score is a masterpiece. This is a piece. 👍
