@Anushka Singh in summers temperature can reach around 48 °c which is normal, as it is a desert city. Jodhpur is also called gateway to Thar desert. Some times (may, June) it also go beyond 50°c during afternoon. If you are from U. P, Bihar, M. P, J&K, Ladakh, northeast, etc then it might be little hot for you. Avoid getting out in afternoon during summers.

@@cannyas-you7862 I got IIT Bhilai, but retrieved from JoSAA, because I got IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) which is far better than any of the newer IITs.
In reality I wanna tell you that IITJ ranking is not so good because it is new IIT but the faculty here may be of Physics, chemistry , Mathmatics etc is awesome...they are very helpful 👍
I talked to some people doing PhD in CS they were saying faculty is very good, everything is awesome only thing that the first year course work is quite tough ..
