Guilty. The last two videos shown in court sealed it for me today. Before them I was still completely open to a not guilty or lesser charge. Not anymore. I don’t see how the jury wouldn’t feel the same. Heartbreaking. After seeing the last two videos how could anyone think Sarah was scared of Jorge. You don’t antagonize and berate an abuser. You don’t coach an abuser to lie for you in court. Sarah Boone is the abuser.

The videos of Jorge humanized him for me. As an abuse victim, I could feel how beaten down he was. He looked broken in a couple 😢
Then he was trying to be cheerful towards her on the back porch one where she was so nasty towards him. (And she said AGAIN, "That's my name! Don't wear it out!" 🤮) I remember those days!! HE was trying to avoid setting HER off.
Jorge definitely was the abused one. I was telling my husband and started crying. So sad.

I think the videos the state ended with today are their strongest argument against her defense. George seemed genuinely afraid of her in some of them and she seemed like she was egging him on, trying to get him to hit her, where she did not appear afraid of him in anyway. I mean, there's a video where she's literally coaching him on what to say to her out of a DV charge. Those videos made me think that maybe he was the one suffering from BSS and that any violence he engaged in was because of that (which the state seems to have been implying).

Jorge seems to be a clear cut case of reactive abuse, people who are abused and controlled will lash out against their aggressor, and often times the abuser will use that to further control their victim. Which is what Sarah did, she documented those events and injuries, she called the cops on him, and the one time she was charged for abuse (she was choking Jorge when he kicked her off of him) she then coached him and forced him to tell the Judge to drop the charges against her.
They mentioned it in the Depp trial too, I think Sarah is the proactive abuser and Jorge was a reactive abuser.

There was something that stood out to me as a DV survivor. That she said how afraid she was of him, always in fear but then also when they were talking about the fact only she has keys to her house, and Jorge not having them. Her response almost immediately was “Jorge would NEVER break into my house”, now I know I was always in fear of my ex coming over or even just running into him. Then next minute she’s on 54 videos calling the police on him for B&E. She can’t pick a lane for her defence.

Didn’t need to. She knew he was stuck in a suitcase. Heres some questions: why didn’t she say in the video she knew he couldn’t breathe and wanted him to die? When he said he couldn’t breathe how come she didn’t say: I know that’s why I’m not letting you out? Why was she so unprepared the next day if she knowingly killed him? Why didn’t she make preparations to get rid of the body? Why didn’t she beat the suitcase like a piñata? Why didn’t he die from blunt force trauma instead of positional asphyxiation? Why isn’t there any actual evidence on video that he could not breathe? What proof do you have He did not tell her: b*tch as soon as I get out of here I’m gonna ring your neck? Why was a grown man unable to get himself out of a suitcase once she went upstairs?

      @1Life2Live007
It is my very firm belief that this was premeditated murder, that the suitcase was the transportation for the body, the phone calls were to "prove" that he was alive while in his presence, and the phone call to her ex-husband was because she was probably going to load up the suitcase with his dead body in it and have him drive her some place saying that she had an argument with Jorge at which time she would have disposed of Jorge's body.
I 100% totally and completely believe this was premeditated right down to the suitcase being the tool to transport his dead body in. She was highly disappointed when the ex-husband hung up on her and, feeling defeated, probably didn't even sleep that night but spent trying to plan what she could possibly come up with. I believe that when she called her ex-husband that Jorge was already dead. I believe that she beat AND suffocated him to death.
Remember, when he was begging to be let out because he couldn't breathe, he was not saying that his hands were hurting or broken. She did that to make him shut up. This was absolutely premeditated first degree murder. ABSOLUTELY

Those videos proved that she was more of the abuser than he was and that she used the cops as her own personal guards. She thought everyone would believe the pretty white woman. Most of her injuries in photos looked like the alcoholics in my life because they are always hurting themselves. The black eye was entirely fake...bruises have splotches not just a solid black, you should see swelling, cuts, busted capillaries, something besides what just looked like black eye shadow. I have seen more damage from a girl's punch and she claimed he stomped her? Also, speaks volumes that the friends telling her to leave Jorge are no where in sight now. When someone does something so heinous you tend to stop lying to yourself about their character.

Here’s something… she said they cleaned up. Why was her son’s baseball out just conveniently right by the suitcase? If they deep cleaned like she said for up to 3 hours, don’t you think she would’ve put it away in her son’s room? I’m shocked no one thought this was odd and asked her “where does the baseball bat normally go?” SB-“my son’s room”, “oh, so how did the bar end up conveniently right next to the suitcase?”
I think she got the baseball bag. I really think she was alcohol mad & got the bat.

The videos did it for me from the beginning just like in the Murdaugh trial. When you have video it's the most damning evidence in my opinion. They are more often than not hard to watch but absolutely and incredibly effective in telling the story, solidifying the state's case and bringing home a conviction.
Jorge isn't here and as much as it could be that he was just as toxic and abusive I feel like justice will be served because nobody deserves what happened to him no matter what. Taking someone's life other than for self defense isn't right and a crime that should always result in a conviction. I'm a victim of DV for five years and almost lost my life but nothing he did ever made me think of ending his life.

I ❤ KYN but have to admit I think he's wrong about the Psychiatrist's testimony today. She was being as honest as she possibly could be without showing prejudice in either direction. The only reason that she was giving off somebody language was because she was exasperated, as we ALL were, with Owens. I wanted to scream at Owens, "do you have a hearing deficiency or is your short-term memory shot as well?".

I think the Psychiatrist was basing her opinion on Sarah’s lack of anxiety- calm & upbeat interpretation was what she based her opinion on. Behavioral health decisions are based on behaviors& how people feel - Sarah didn’t speak of any fear , anxiety during the day - so I think the Psychiatrist was interpreting this.
I would have loved to hear the prosecutor ask her about memory - black outs and drinking. I think Sarah was potentially in a black out and didn’t remember making the videos and her explanation - narrative of the evening was a lie.

This is why I think the syringe is significant. I think he tricked Sarah into playing hide and seek so he could pack a suitcase with his belongings without her seeing. He grabbed his papers and his syringe to pack and Sarah found him and shoved him in the suitcase to teach him a lesson. Then she passed out.

42:32 DEPOSITION MID TRIAL: I agree with Peter on Owen’s fumbling away some of the knowledge gained through the depo and how the depo itself looked much better for the defense vs what was presented in front of the jury. IMO, I’m finding that to be a common theme in many trials I’ve seen lately. Oftentimes, experts opinions are formulated and presented much clearer during depo to where it bodes well for one side or the other, but when testifying in front of the jury it falls flat. I believe that happened with the crash daddy experts and cellebrite experts for defense in the KR trial. Additionally, I believe that makes it harder for us “couch jurors” streaming the trial to remain as unbiased as the actual jury members who aren’t privy to everything we are seeing. As someone streaming the trial and often feeling very strongly one way or the other by a certain point in trial, it becomes harder and harder to separate knowledge gained in jury view vs that gained during attorney arguments etc.
Btw- I couldn’t help myself but to hear Jackson or Yanetti’s voice in my head saying a sarcastic retort when the psychiatrist claimed Boone didn’t provide any additional information when asked the same blanket question that she herself continues to refuse to answer 🤣 I don’t believe they would’ve been able to keep from verbalizing the irony lol!!
