I watched your VR guide to optimize my VR experience on the G2. It was a night and day difference. Thanks so much for the time and research that you put into your videos!
Great Video!!! I use the G1000 regularly, but you went over stuff I didn't know existed. FYI. the Flight Plan Catalog is populated with your stored SimBrief flights. I noticed your Lean softkey looked greyed out. Mine is active and I am currently learning how to use that. Thanks again for an informative video!
hey john thanks for the comment and glad you picked up a couple things also. My lean is greyed out because this is a turbo prop . i had a pop up at that time to let everyone know why it was greyed out. for the flight catalog how do you get more than 1 to show there ? do i need to save something in simbrief and export over im confused about this ?
hey i did a video on lean assist a while ago if you are interested ua-cam.com/video/Q4w7jkJakQM/v-deo.html i will be doing another one tho as the new aau update.
@@2020fsers Great! Thanks. I don't know how I missed that one. I will watch plus any new one you do. Back to the flight catalog. It will only populate flights that you generate in SimBrief. I have a bunch stored but it only populated the ones I generated recently.
@@2020fsers That is how it works on my system but I just started using that function on the G1000. It will not show saved SimBrief flights, just ones that are generated.
Are you running a beta version of MSFS because I don't see the Navigraph settings as an option in my Aux menu? Maybe I missed something? I tried looking for it on the DA62, C208, and C172 and I don't see the same layout of the G1000 as I see here, and none have Navigraph as an option to set up.
Hello thanks for the comment .I am not running any beta. Ok 1st make sure you use the navigraph hub to install the g1000 navigraph pages . I am also using the g1000 mod in market place search g1000 in marketplace .
I just downloaded the new Garmin G1 thousand package for the Cessna 172 Skyhawk. When I attempt to takeoff the screens for both the MFD and the PFD go blank what causes that and how do I rectify it haven’t been able to use the screens, but the rest of the flight works, can you help best regards ron
The garmin package you are referring to is thar in the marketplace ? Try and remove the g1000 and see if it works. Could Also be a conflict with another mod in your community
The package is the one from the marketplace. There are three parts ; c -150 , 172 Skyhawk adding g1000 and some other aircraft. I not familiar with Aldo. Thanks so much for responding.
@@2020fsers gotcha, I did a little digging on ur channel and figured that was probably the case. Def gonna look into it. Ik this is only a sim game, but it literally helped me study for my ppl and have fun doing it, so getting charts is worth it for this game. Thanks man.
Hey, thanks for your videos. I have a question I run MSFS on a laptop with i5 12500H, RTX 3060, and 16 Gb ram. While playing I am always limited by main theath even when I am on low settings en LOD sliders on minimum do you have an idea to get rid of this problem? My CPU is only 50% used and GPU is only at 60%
Cpu may only be 50% used but msfs only uses 1 core so I would go through windows and go through all the settings to turn things off . You need to free up cpu resources. I did a video on maximizing windows for performance it's in the msfs fixes playlist. It's for windows 10 tho.if you are using windows 11 I would definitely use the pegasun tool i showed at the end it really helps turning off unnecessary services. Then I would also debloat your driver and remove GeForce and all the other fluff that takes up much system resources I did a video on that also its the performance hack video in ths msfs fixes playlist. I would also check that you are using xmp mode for your ram. Also run the islc cleaner tool for ram efficiency. There's a video on that also.
This is not the video to watch, others have MFDs with all the greyed out options working, stock. I have stock and dont even have the options this guy has but his AUX looks like mine. Others, stock, have all those options and more! Have not cracked the secret as to why everyone has a different MFD in the same plane with the same game and most likely the same version.

@johnreveley4901 oh ok so I don't need to import any of them? They will just show up in the catalog?

I don't seem to have the Charts options. Is that because I need Navigraph?
Yes that's correct you need navigraph for those to work
Hi
What type of potentiometer to mount Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant linears? Trimmers? or Hall effect .?
Thanks so much....!!!!
The bravo doesn't use hall sensors I know that .

That supposed to say also .
i do not have access to the IFR/VFR charts in the FMS map options. how do i get that
To get the charts in the g1000 needs navigraph .

@@2020fsers thanks I let you know how it works out
How much is a navigraph subscription in USD?
it is $10 a month or $86.37 for the year which is a way better price than monthly saving about $35.
$86.37 yearly or $9.57 monthly at today's exchange rate.
The opposite of intuitive.

Get the g1000 mod from market place . Or don't even watch My video per your words .
