I like trading trendlines as they were the first strategy I was teached by my mentor long time ago and are also a main tool of my trading. I do find your youtuber videos very well done. You care details very much plus your personality in a broad context is quite attractive for your followers. However, you trade with a much larger risk than I would dare, I mean 20 PT contracts with the size of your account I would consider a not so good capital management. That does not mean you are wrong as you are making well but you know the odds may play against you anytime with a series of failed trades. Wish you lots of success from Spain!

One thing I’ve noticed going back further in the time scale, current trend lines also compare to and line up on trend lines from 20 years ago, and this is across a multitude of things you can trade. So in my opinion, it is worth going back and looking at old up and downtrends and comparing them to the current ones

You mention entering on the tighter trendline break but that would have been even more downside potential if you had a stop at the almost flat green line no ? The candles for steeper green line would not have been formed yet. Correct ?

Hey Tori thanks for your videos! Have you also experienced the problem of fake outs in the 5-minute chart in past, especially with the S&P 500? Those long wicks without the candle really breaking through? It was particularly an issue with your strategy I've been following, and it was a big obstacle for me yesterday
13:29. You do the same as me. I don’t even have stop losses for my options because on webull you can’t set options stop losses on the stock chart. So i just put alerts then I’ll look at it. I have a hard stop loss in my head. But I’ll put the alert to where it would be.

Why do you not set a break even stop loss once the price moves up? That way you can let the trade run with zero risk only closing after a substantial move. You might want to disable the grid lines on your canvas settings too. They are so annoying

Fair play to you for making a profit on that trade but it was very amateurish , try looking at the higher timeframe first, that can help immensely, risk reward needs to be higher
The more touches on a trendline, the more significant it is… so when it has multiple touches it’s bound to break out with more strength as it’s been tested multiple times it becomes bigger resistance/support.
@@mechanic1arts I just draw the trendlines on whatever time frame I’m on. Higher timeframe trendlines are likely to be more important but I don’t trade based on that. I take trades on 4 hour trendline breaks as long as it has 3 touch points like tori says and longer than a week’s worth of touches.
Her technical analysis is excellent and hid interpretation/projections of the market is so accurate I sometimes ask myself if she is human haha. Point is, Stacey is the perfect trader to follow for advise and daily signals.
What impresses me most about Stacey Macken is how well she explains basic concept of winning before actually letting you use her trade signals. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades.

So your strategy only works if you have an extreme amount of capital?
literally makes no difference, all of trading is more beneficial if you have more capital. but that doesn't mean that it doesn't work.
