After seven years of perfecting our 72-Hour Merino T-Shirt, we decided it was time to challenge its limits like never before-and that meant going straight to the source: Tasmania, Australia. It's home to the family-run sheep farm where the legendary Merino wool for our shirts is created. Along for the ride was Sunny Chang, PROOF Senior Apparel Designer, and our very own Brand Marketing VP, Ben O’Meara. After some wool-on-wool time with the flock, they hit the trails to test our shirt’s mettle on a three-day journey through its own backyard. After 72 hours of non-stop wear through sun, wind, sea spray, and a brutal climb, let’s just say it over-delivered at every turn.

Honestly...this is no Kim Kardashian Kanye West hype type of clothing...this is pure love/quality made by people who live with a moral compass and defend long-forgotten values such as honesty...now to make it big nowadays you need the crazy hype through fake algorithms and you guys don't have it but I sincerely hope that you win through organic growth and set an example for the following generations !!!
As an Australian that has been threatening to go to Tasmania for a while now, you guys definitely fuelled the fire. I can't believe I enjoyed watching an advertisement for a t-shirt so much. (I think I'll go for longer than 72hrs, so much to see. I might need more than one shirt.)

As an Aussie been through this area a couple of times it is an epic location, possible one of the most beautiful places in all my travels. Now knowing where the product originates from I really wish it was easier for us to access it 😞 I have a Japan trip coming up for which it would be perfect for.

Wow, Ben has been wearing that same shirt for years and it still looks great. How do you prevent it from pilling?
Since this is a knit fabric, pilling is to be expected. This natural process occurs when the shorter fibers in Merino wool work their way to the surface. You tend to see it more in high-friction areas, such as under the arms or on the back if you've been wearing a backpack. If you find that the pilling has built up, a few light passes with a pill remover should have the shirt looking fresh.
