Good work man. Its going to look killer. Side note your Channel is really cool! Traditional hot rod builds with flatheads are bad ass. Not to many You Tubers doing it. Keep up the good work brother.
I think it looks way better pruned, adds some class from the bulky utilitarian look they have stock, and helps with the balance of proportions on a flathead. Well done, I Like it a lot!
It’s not for performance, it’s all about looks and a little function. I needed the flanges to be cut off for the water outlets in the head to clear. And I like the look better
Looks are unimportant. Water outlet clearance was what you wanted, and gained .. ... so it looks great in every regard for that. Also your water outlets : you can fab' the outlet pipes with flange for small length of rubber hose .. either polished aluminum tube, or "traditional" chrome steel pipe. Or really even more traditional .. paint that sh*t. Can't wait to see you ruin a flathead intake on that Bridgeport .. ... blower plate !!! Pretty fun important step. Lots of ways to skin a cat there.
Blower housing looks great!! Admire the "go for it" attitude!! Please tell some of the "less experienced" how much time you spend doing research prior to turning on that Bridgeport over your blower housing!! With all the rest of your aluminum speed equipment being dull/brushed, I would be inclined to bead blast the blower. Maybe use a courser "mesh" sand and a lower air pressure in a cabinet to get a courser texture on the housing??? Obviously, entirely your call. Just offering a possible consideration. So, "work" is a "machinist"?? That would explain the rather "precise" and methodical work you do "routinely"!! 👍👍👍🛠⚙️
Didn’t do much research just kinda saw one and started cutting to emulate it. I’m not quite a machinist but I run a plethora of machines at my work. I am in medical manufacturing.
Like the name change and the blower looks great.
I think the modifications to the blower housing are spot-on! It looks great, 'can't wait to see it polished! Thanks for sharing! Be safe!
Looks awesome
COOL
it looks much better now , nice job on the machine work , and the hand work shaping it .
Thanks man!
Wow! Can't wait to see it finished!
So after you cut the Mounts off the blower, how do you mount it ???
How do you plan to mount it? Great job
Good stuff! Try rubbing a bar of soap on the aluminum occasionally when grinding, it’ll help with build up on the sand paper and die grinder
Loving the pruned look. Polishing is that next level of finish!! 🔥
Looks much better 👌
Nice job Travis , it's going to be perfect.
